Well, i bought this phone and i've got it with several dead pixels on it. Though, this phone really rocks (and the graphics aren't that bad at all), sounds great and plays even MP3 (if you install an MP3 player software)

Is this a good fone? I heard that its got no radio and the sound output via loudspeaker is mono. Its quiet heavy but its a symbian fone.. Its got no hot swap unlike the n-gage qd. I heard that it can play all n-gage games coz its ram is very high.. Should i get it? Its quiet cheap now.

                  Hi anyone,

I got problem with my 6600.
                  Sending file via bluetooth ok...
but cannot receive any file thru it...

                  e.g.
                  From PC (error copying file),
from my colleague phone (sending error)..

Anybody knows how to fix it...?
                  just send me a mail...:-)

N6600 is better. Trust me. No doubt people are complaining abt the slow phone speed, no FM/AM radio, low internal memory, no mp3player and the list goes on..
The phone is slow becos it only runs on 100+Mhz and it is runnin' symbian OS, of cos, the speed is slow. Therefore, I recommend (in my opinion), free up ur internal memory, always keep it above 4mb+ to optimise performance. I have been using a 1GB card and it is performing well. My phone has 256Mb of mp3s and I listen is true UltraMp3. (Who says it canot play mp3?!) Anyway Mono Output doesnt matter much to me. Get a mp3player if u expect better performance. About the FM/Am radio, I got myself a Enchancement Set, an external radio from Nokia. Viola! No troubles.

As compared to k700i, K700i sure lose out. Simply becos, k700i aint got any memory expansion slot, no infra-red, limited space, no room for creativity and lastly poor camera. Get a K750 if you want.

Sorry but.. I believe that the K700i is better than this heavier, bulky fone.. This fone does not have fm radio and not even a built-in mp3 player. Btw, the sound output which is mono of the 6600 makes this fone unideal for mp3 songs. Probably the good thing about this fone than the K700i is its symbian os and the mmc expansion features. And the fone is plastic as compared to K700i, a beautifully made aluminium brush and finish. The K700i also feature Quickshare technology that helps you to take pictures and send them instantly..

I would really like to know how to connect to the Internet using the bluetooth? My 6600modem says connect via infrared. Does this have to be changed before i can connect through Bluetooth?

                                        Hi guys

I know how difficult it can be to get the software for a phone. Especially mp3 players. The site helixcommunity.org has a fully downloadable, full-version player that not only plays mp3's but a house full of other formats. You have to register though. Free of charge.
Not very interactive but it sounds good on a 6600.
