You may think this phone is stink...simply because now there are plenty new arrival phone with great feature.
But, the 6600 during its time, is one of the best selling nokia phone, and todate many people still using it after 6 years in the market.
I gonna give a thumb up for its great design despite of the phone thickness...

On newer Series 60 phones (6600/6620/7610), the sequence is slightly different:
power the phone off,
press and keep down the keys green/talk + ’3’ + ’*’, - power on the phone.
release the keys when the formatting starts.

6600 is one of the best phone nokia has produce. my has stayed for close to 3 years now and i am still using it. NO LONG THING.....

Ok, I change phones alot but I have to say I LOVE the Nokia 6600 so I have just brought another one from Ebay... even though it's "old" I still love it!
nice large screen and has most features that all the new phones have...........

If you want to unlock your MMC, better yet to general reformat your MMC in MMC Menu...
