guys any kewl software that i can downlaod for this handset?
i know that there is the navigator for this
any mp3 player software that i can download as well as i saw my cuzie got the software..... on his handset but cannot remember where he got it from....
ive seen i vid that showed that this handset can have the navigator can you kindly advise......?

yeah in south africa
i fformatted the handset without even backing up but luckly it worked fine
i just reformatted with out backing it up on the memry card
at first i thought it would take everything off and pulled the battery out then when i switched it on it said that i need to take it into the retailer
then i just started the format again and then it reshreshed everything and now the joystick is working perfect
thanks for the advise.
any advise on how i can get mp3 player software downloaded to that handset????
and i see that that handset has the navigator too
any ways of downlaoding the software for the navigator?

It's not bad to do reformatting with update version, just take back up from phone to memory card. U can say its like refreshing cellphone nothing bad in it. I dont think so that ur phone's joystick is not working well becz of software problem. There is no software related to joystick in phone. It's hardware part. If u still think it's software problem then I suggest u reformat ur phone by any Nokia Care Service Station then check if joystick's problem is still there or not if not then its hardware problem.
And by the way SA means South
Africa ? This is the link of nokia care website just select ur city there and tick on service point. It will show u addresse with phone numbers information.

Hi Kraftster,
About ur software problem for this phone u just have to reload and update ur's phone software from Nokia Care Service Station. After that ur phone will work like new one. Then about joystick just go to any local mobile repair shop and ask them to change the pad of joystick to make it work fine like before. U can ask about it to Nokia Service Station also but they dont deal in local products I mean its hard to find that joystick pad becz its already discontinued phone thats why I am suggesting u to ask any mobile repair shop to change it with new or any old which can work fine on ur mobile.( I also have faced this problem about joystick. I repaired my mobile phone from repairing shop of mobile with new local joystick pad becz Nokia's pad was very expensive and didn't have any gaurantee but local one was cheaper and was in gaurantee. However, joystick is abit harder now than before to use).

loveble phone i can state!
im having software problems where my joystick works then it doesnt then it dooes then the phone freezes etc
realised that is it software
any ideas as how i can reload the software??

i luv dis phne once i look at its 2years a go..
but now its give me sooooooo~ much
problem..
1st,the vibration is stuck.
2nd,the infrared is out of used.
3rd,the bluetooth "ROSAK",til now its stil can't be used!!!
4th,the keypad..arrgghhhhhh...
5th,i can't open my galery..
i luv dis phne.but cause by all the prob
i feel like i luv n95..
the new versian..i will get it 1 =)

Bought the phone way back in 2004, simply stating a great phone..smart,sexy and loveable.i feel u can compare it with any of the new sets like N series...Nokia changed it software once and this was the phone to bring the revolution...in my view its a complete phone..as long as u use phone for the telephony purpose..

have been using the 6600 for the past 4yrs and no problem at all. just recently it started giving problems with the joystik. i dont want to change it for anything. how can i go around this and keep using my lovable phone?

I used this phone for about 2 year and 5 months, when I bought this phone its real very speedy and very fine, but now there are alot of phone and Im very sad for this, BUT I LOVE MY PHONE

I used this phone more than five years & I really likes it. I don't even want to change it but this days I got aproblem it closed by itself the application server & it is too slow. I wish you give me a tip to solve this problem. thank you in advance.

I personali like nokia because they are rezistent i hade 3 simense and 4 erricsons in the past 3 years and all have brokan i hade a nokai 6110 i know its big but i played football with it and its stil working(didnt played football with the other phones they just falen from mi pokets and stuff like that )mi father is using a nokia 1110 it falen from 5 m and its still working the onli thing that happend he hade to change the housing .mi point is sure other phones are more sofisticated and better camera and stuff like this but nokia hase something that others dont rezistance and durabiliti ,and in plus in mi opinion it hase the simplest menue.Thats whie nokia is the best phone in mi opinion (SORY FOR THE BAD ENGLISH)

hi i have this mobile till 5 years and i don't regret from buying it. it has fallen from my hand about 2 meters and also fallen in the river and nothing happen. i really appreciate this mobile
