I have downloaded and installed codec for playing MP3 as ringtone and have selected a MP3 file as ringtone. But still the default tone is running instead of the MP3 one.

This is such a sumptuous phone!!!

Its a great phone its true that theres no mp3 but u can install many programs to it and then it becomes to a 100 procent Smart Phone.

have this phone n da only thing abt it that rly pisses me off is it doesnt have mp3 evrything else is fine n i drop it all da time even i think i threw it afew timez wen i was angry..still works;)

I have been using this phone for last 2-3 years..Have dropped it zillion times..
The Camera is not too bad,the looks are elegant.Very easy to use and can install 3rd party softwares.im very much satisfied with this mobile..It was the best fone in its era.. Looking for change ..Nyone could suggest a latest piece from nokia..n70 ,n72 etc..Thanks and take care

this phone is gr8...i droped it like a million times n it still works gr8 unlike some sony phones....i no someone who has a sony ercsn n they droped it n the screan got dammaged then they had 2 repair it it took like 3 weeks or sumthin guyz rly those phones r pretty cool other den da quality of some of um.*NOKIA IS DA BEST*

hey tansfering files from your pc to you nokia 6600 can be done with bluetooth some laptops have it or you can buy a special bluetooth usb device hope i helped..tc

I've had this phone for 3 years now, the only prob is whenever I try to press the right button, the phone restarts. it's quite annoying but everything else works fine, it was also my fault coz i've dropped this a LOT of times and I only had the problem after 3 years so I think that's okay.
Im planning to buy a new phone, but Im on a tight budget so I'll wait for phones prices to go down a bit. hehehe.

Hi..You can set MP3 as ringtone for your 6600. There is a codec that you need to instal. If you want it send me an email.

to rabbi you can transfer your date from your pc 2 your cell phon by using the program Nokia pc suit you can find it in the C D with your box phone and you mist insert a bluetooth device to your pc
