From the press release :
"The high-gloss surface of the Nokia 6600 fold comes to life when tapped twice to "wake up" the hidden outer display that reveals time, incoming messages, missed calls and more."
That means each time you want to see if you have missed calls or messages you have to tap twice on your phone. What progress is that over a standard idle screen showing missing events ?

Why does everyone want Wi-fi on their phone? Have people forgotten what a laptop is mainly used for? Phones are for calling, not connecting to the internet. How will anyone enjoy browsing the internet on a small cell phone screen? Have people lost their minds? Seriously...

@ JOHN, a bit childish i must say saying your first,,what do you do all day wait for a fone to launch on the site and put i am first.???!!!
The original 6600 was a mini marvel with symbian and this is nowt like a classic version of it

@ mc3t
yes, AFAIK, Nokia always install Nokia Maps on their hi-end phones.
even my old N73 has Nokia Maps application.
the maps application will work if you connect your phone with Nokia GPS Module (sold separately).

Poor battery life, but it doesnt change much because you just need to buy an extra battery, unlike any other phones who have poor features which cant be helped, i personally think that Nokia OWNS !!!! \m/ Lets hear for Nokia ~~~~~~~~~~~ Go 16m OLED screen!!!!

nice looking phone but why only 2megapixel? it should at least be 3.2megs and the screen should at least be 2.2 just like the slide version.
