I've had my Nokia 6610 for past 18 months. My only frustration is the stupid menu - it's not as well thought out as earlier Nokias I've had. Sometimes u get stuck on a pathway & can't reverse back (have to cancel to start), or if the screen isn't clear when someone calls, you can't put the handsfree on. Too many keystrokes for simple sms-ing.

overall a very good fone better than gx10 and nokia 6600 i have had no camera but i nevr use it on my gx10 anyway good fone for making calls and texting what fone are for proper bo fone io tell thee i tell thee chamone hee hee!!!

After only 2 months my cellphone got stuck ... the screen always 'hung' on the same blue or purple screen. So I returned it to the shop to fix it. My colleague's friend had a broken button. This phone isn't that marvellous as it seems ...

I have a 6610. Bought it new in Kuwait from Xpress Cell. Everytime I get a picture sms from naharnet.com, it breaks down! I mean it shuts off and I have to take it to Nokia to have it repaired. I don't know why this happens. You guys can try it as well. For some reason it breaks down when I get sms pics from this site. On my other phone 3510 it works well.

Not a bad phone (long battery life and easy to use) but the dust-intrusion in the cover (between inner and outer screen) makes me go mad :)

Nice feature-set: particularly the speakerphone and radio option (and radio through the speaker is a good touch). Handy organiser features.
Great-looking sleek phone too.
Color-depth, polyphony, no voice-dialling and flickery button LEDs let it down.
But even just after upgrading to a 6230, I will still be sorry to see it go.

the phone is ok. no problem during this 5 months. the screen could be better (minor problem with blue color in some pictures). then, polyphonic yes, but not 30 or something... only 4. anyways nothing specialy, but in global, works smooth. fine and ok.

I like 6610 very much. it is fashionable and stylish i think . its form is simple and its a real nokiaaaaa

THE NOKIA 6610 IS JUNK!!!!
We bought two here at work and have had nothing but trouble with them. We are high end users making phone calls all day. There are 5 of us in the office with full coverage - the others have Sony-Ericsson with no problems. The 6610 repeatedly hangs up calls usually with the message “Insert SIM Card” or other garbage on the screen. I was issued a new SIM but to no avail. I have taken my phone back 5 times for numerous software upgrades and repairs and finally they replaced it with a new phone and guess what – IT IS NO BETTER. My colleague is on his 3rd handset and it too doesn’t work any better. His phones have had exactly the same symptoms as mine. I spoke to the man at the local cell phone shop, his comment “ the 6610 is the most returned handset for complaints” He listed all the problems I was experiencing and more. SO WHATS THE STORY NOKIA? HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THAT PEOPLE WANT TO MAKE PHONE CALLS WITH THEIR CELL PHONES????

i think this is a very great and outstanding phone. This has alot of memory to use up and polyfonic ringtones i srongley recomend that you buy this phone

used this for almost 4 months. Perfect. (unless you're looking for a camera phone)

Used this phone for 10 months and the keypad started failing. Sent to Nokia Servicing in Singapore 5 times over 2 months and had to wait 1.5 hours each time to send in and collect. Got rid of phone the minute it seemed like no problem. So frustrating!!
