sir ibbr
there are several profiles that can be used in the ETI camcorder 2 app that would greatly affect the visual quality of the recorded videos
first
the "phone" and the "pc" profiles are inferior to the default camera video app of the 6630 but they offer better framerate, smoother but in terms of quality they are good only if you use the phone memory
I suggest using the "editing" profile as it's quality is not affected on wheter you save it on MMC or on your phone and it has far superior picture wuality and framerate compared to the other profiles and the default camera app.
it also can be upgraded to larger resolutions of up to 600x480 without loss of picture quality (although it will also take up double the memory that it occupies on your mmc)and you must use the smartmovie cionverter on your pc to achieve this
this profile can be compared to the videos seen on n70 in terms of quality
you can slo use custom 1 and custom 2 profiles which are good, great video quality and is already big in picture size (CIF) but the framerate is slow clocking at 6 fps only
the "editing" profile is the best profile in the ETI camcorder

sir the ETI camcorder 2 has different profiles
the phone and pc profile arent as good as the default camera app in terms of quality but they offer smooth framerate
the editing and custom 1 and 2 however are far superior to the default camera app
and if you want smooth framerate and a resolution that can be upsized to full screen without reduction of picture wuality use the "editing" profile
it's performance is unaffected wheter you save it on a memory card or not
I saved 50 mb of videos using my memory card and the picture wuality is fine!
I will upload it on youtube to prove it but my main concern is Im only using dial up and it might take awhile to upload the video

Hey guys, i have this fone for about a year. And yeah... it's true, you can't put a .gif file as a wallpaper. But the rest of the specs. was good... and it's a pc friendly, i can watch my recorded videos via VCD by burning it.
I don't have any promblem with it. But the one thing i don't like about it is, when i got msg and it's not save in my phonebook, it will just appear the number... yeah that's normal. But the thing is, when i save the number, the name on the message still don't appear on the previous msg in my inbox, unless it's a new msg. but the rest in fine.
But i'm now planning to switch on N90... hope it's better than this...

this phone latest version symbian capability is suck my phone using version v6.03.08 RM-1
1)this phone cannot play MGS games anymore
2)cannot put Ogg. files as ringtone anymore
3)the camera super suck compare to firmware 5.03.08 the camera appear blue colour in the background when u take picture and the people look very dark !!!
6)but only slightly improve the recorder quality
7) speaker suck compare to sony w800
i think 6600 is better coz the third party application are more supportable for the phone so the features more better than this phone !!
i am a bit regret now !!

to k.k.
yes, you can put 512mb and 1gb. i'm using 1gb and has no problems. i've also heard of a 6630 with 2gb but i haven't confirmed it yet. i suggest 1gb as the maximum mmc to use.
