Hi Mark,
I've got a digital camera and so a camera phone is not really a priority for me (though the camera on the 6630 seems to be really good indeed). Why I wanna get this set is because it seems to have all the features I need and that too at a very low price. This seems to be the allrounder handset that I was looking for at a reasonable price. I like its looks as well. I dont need FM but I do need an mp3 player. I've heard that the sound from the speaker while playing mp3's is loud enough but a bit flat. Is it true? And I would also like to know wat the quality of video playback is. How does it fare when compared to the 3230 for example? The K750i might be a better choice here but its not a smart phone(no symbian!) and I might get bored after a while!! Thanks for the reply.

To Ishaat:
You can look at some pictures taken with the N6630 from here: http://lehto.net/6630/
I've had this phone for about a month now, and even though I swore I would never get a phone with a camera (or at least enjoy the idea of having one), I gotta admit it is pretty handy. Outdoor pictures look great, but on the downside indoor pictures (especially in bars) often come out a bit dark. But then again, if you want good indoor pictures, use a real camera! =)
Overall I'm pretty happy with the phone. It's been a long time since I last owned a Nokia (5-6 years), but now I figured it's time to switch back and see what they've come up with. Must say I wasn't disappointed.

I would like to know wat the quality of video and music on the Nokia 6630 model is. After having done a long research I have finally decided to get this handset. It suits my budget as well.I've been considering the following models - Nokia 6681, SE K750i(the price has really come down here in India)and ofcourse the 6630. After reading all the reviews I see that 6630 matches the features of the more expensive models. It would be great if somebody could quide me. My budget is Rs.13,000(300$ approx). I would like a symbian based phone but at the same time I'm disappointed by the amount of built-in memory Nokia provides on there handsets. Cant afford an N70. Too expensive.
Thanks.

Hi,
after using this mobile; switching to it from my 6670 just for good camera and sound i misunderstood the actual performance of my previous mobile that it ran all the third party softares 100% correctly than this stupid gadget!!!
this 6630 can not run external softwares properly for which symbian is popular among mobile phone users! almost all the softares shut down automatically and the phone reboot by itself when two softares conflict or while running a softare one get a message or call. i have been sick of it and see no hope in the future as well because nokia has switched over to symbian OS9 ... so no one will go for OS8 anymore!
beware people to buy the newest versions of symbian mobiles by nokia ... better go for cells with normal functions like SE-K750i, W800 etc!

To Kath:By coinsidence,I happen to use the 6230 handsfree too. But,I encounter no problems with the playback.Do not worry about the phone. If you jack a stereo handsfree,it will play stereo(provided that the music file is stereo coded of course).Check the functionality of the handsfree. It might be malfunctioning,or not jacked well. Also, check the media which you have uploaded on the phone(whether stereo or not).Cheers.

hi i have this phone since a few days ago and it works great, super fast , everything is good but i want to ask about this thing: is it stereo or mono? cuz i tryed to play a song with handsfree (i havent got the original handsfree so i used a 6230 one)n i could only hear in one ear... i hope this can be fixed with another hands free set, it would b such a shame not to b able 2 play music in stereo on such a great device
