might be u are using/ buying recond 6630 set or 2nd hand set or might be not from nokia authorized dealer; bcoz i also using 6630 but there's no problems at all! it is bcoz i'm buying 6630 from the nokia authorized dealer (zitron)in malaysia! =)it is much expensive but it is worth for your money... to magic penguin;miss u so much man.. =( bcoz of ur advices, i bought this 6630... hope u'll keep posting any idea & solution about 6630 here... thankz a lot...

Nothing Great abt this fon!My 6600 was even better. I've had it sent to Nokia & returned with problems unsolved:screen goes blank when I enter Menu to personalize features. I can't change LANGUAGE, can't write SMS (can't switch # button to change number to text input). I can't save names.
I just could receive and make calls. Pity for such an expensive gadget. I've given it to my 6-year old daughter and got myself the 6680i because a built-in Nokia Bluetooth system in my car.

this phone is so freakin swift. i can get ngage games on it, and it;s compatible with many symbian aplications even some for sony ericson p series. the only phone im gonna change it for is gonna be the n80 which i hope can leave up to this legendary 6630. best phone nokia ever made and i hope n80 wont dissapoint my ass cause it gonna be like 600$ , but that's what the 6630 was when i boughy iy like 550-600$. ps I LOVE THE DESIGN

Thanx 4 that lovely piece of advice
I had almost made up my mind to settle for the n3230 but the way in which you put the pros and cons of every model made me rethink
and i eventually went for the 6630 and believe me i am not regretting the decision one bit.All thanx to you man!!!

i purchased a nokia 6630 in december 2005,
i wish to increase the memory capacity.
but i have been told by the dealer that a memory card above 512 mb causes the mobile operating system to hang. is this true?
some people say 1 gb works fine.
also, which brand, make(mmc, rs etc) of memory card should i go for?

HEY PEOPLE,
i bought a 512 rs-dv-mmc here in India.i inserted it in d slot.then,i checked d memory,it showed only 490mb!!!where d hell is d rest of 22 mb?where does it get used? please help me out...
also,i recommend d MP3 PLAYER which u can download from www.viking.tm.its awesome!!!jus listen 2 its output and effect.it's better than the in-built realplayer.it also a has EQUALIZER which's very useful.thank u. KEEP ROCKIN...6630 RULZ!

need some help. i installed some s/w in my cell and suddenly the .txt files cannot be launched. even .avi files cannot be launshed from Gallery, i have to open them from smart movie.. any idea what may set this right???!!!
