And... PLEASE !!! Read before you post. Search before you post. There is a big chance that your question is already answered !!! When i bought this phone i have read all the pages about it... Almost 100... PLEASE try to read before posting because almost all the main things about 6630 were written here...

About the charging yes i mean you should keep it pluged-in for 12 hours 3 times... :)

I have SP2 too and i don't have any problems...
1. Install the pc suite cd on your pc.
NOTE: Do not connect the usb data cable.
2. After installing the pc suite on the pc wait for the box that says connect data cable.
NOTE: Put the usb cable and connect it your pc.
3. Now after connecting it to your pc connect the other end of the cable to your 6630 mobile phone and wait.
NOTE: Dont rush the pc and phone you have to wait coz it searches for the data cable drivers it will take about 5 to mins and if yourusing XP it will say that 6630 is found double click the icon and its now ready for use (you can find this at the task bar located at the date panel).

Buy Sony-Ericsson W810 if you want VERY HIGH sound quality... 6630 mp3 player is a good one but it isn't like a iPOD... For GOD sake is a phone...

I've recently bought a Nokia6630, when I try to put in SeleQ v1.65, it doesn't work.. can anyone tell me which version is supported by N6630? and where do i download it? Thanx alot.

hi i need your help guys...i cant install my nokia pc suite...my phone is nokia 6630....i tried many times installing but still it can detect my phone...i even reset my phone but nothing happens...can you help...does sp2 of winxp affects my installation...

It says on the nokia demo site that it can make a two way video call, how is that possible? is there a camera on front of this unit? what is the function of that little unknown thing on its top right portion?? anyone??? tnx

its has streophonic mp3 that means play sound with headphone only through loudspeaker it play only monophonic sound.not only this every nokia phone is like this the nokia music phone 6230i is also same it play better sound than it but is fuul soun it is rattling.if want nokia phone with stereo sound from loud speaker than go with nokia 6270 or new upcoming modela specialy nokia 91 or 3250 with 3.5 mm jack.or go with SE w990 or with motorola rokre2.bye frnd have a good day with this phone.

Attention!
Nokia 6630's symbian version is v 8.0 .so, many softwares which worked on v 7.0 like of nokia 6600 or 7610 are not working on nokia 6630. Yes this true.
I am having problem to install even opera.Sis which worked perfectly on 6600 or that 7610.
When the file is fully downloaded it show notes insted of installing the file.
Why it is so?
Anyone knows how to overcome the problem?
Please help me.

hello frnds does it play stereo sound in loud speaker.pls say does it has stereo speaker like nokia 7710 or it play ratling sound like my nokia 7610 or its has waste sound like my fathers nokia 3230.pls help me frnd.i want stereo phone like k750i.

what i want to say about NOKIA 6630 . its a wonderful mobile phone, perfect mp3 , perfect digital cam , i wonder what mobile will beat it , i like its voice its so clear and high , its so fast , i was thinkin to buy nokia 3230 but when i saw the amazing nokia 6630 i changed my mind and i bought the 6630 ,better sound and cam and cute shape , i advise all ppl who thinkin' to buy a mobile phone to buy the 6630 its like no ther of nokia's ordinary phones , and i also wanna say the software of 6630 is so cool with the third generation type

Hi Magic Penguin, Nice to see your replies to various queries. I want to know whether Nokia is coming up with new Nokia 6630 Music Edition? with 512 mb MMC & 3.5 mm stereo jack? Should i wait to buy this music phone?
