hi magic penguin,
can you tell me any drawbacks of 6630 n what are the nice softwares i required to fully utilize this phone 6630????
how much it will cost me to upgrade a firmware n after upgrading the firmware waht backups i hv to take before the process????
i know you reply me asap...i trust you now.

      guys.. my phone is just recently free from viruses.. how can i protect my phone from viruses?? is there any application for anti virus? and also i cant send mms.. y? is there any prblem wth my phone? pls help.. tnx

        I was just wondering, I havent seen the LED that is at the upper right corner of the phone glowing ever since I used my 6630, is there something wrong with that? Hope you can help me....

          This is the best phone ever!! Does anyone knoe of FREE mpeg4 converter which works with this phone? I tried to convert to 3gp but video files didnt play... How can I put my own videos on this phone??????

            hi friends , i am planning to buy this phone today as this is the best phone in the market today to suite my budget of Rs 13500. i would like to know from experienced user who have upgarded there s/w version , which s/w is the best for this phone and why ? what advantage does smart movie have as this phone is able to show video in full screen mode already in real player ? thanx in advance

              Don't worry man... :) Everybody makes misstakes... I like to help nokia 6630 users.

              @Siddharth:
              Try to uninstall the pc suite and try this way:
              1. Install the pc suite cd on your pc.
              NOTE: Do not connect the usb data cable.

              2. After installing the pc suite on the pc wait for the box that says connect data cable.
              NOTE: Put the usb cable and connect it your pc.

              3. Now after connecting it to your pc connect the other end of the cable to your 6630 mobile phone and wait.
              NOTE: Dont rush the pc and phone you have to wait coz it searches for the data cable drivers it will take about 5 to mins and if yourusing XP it will say that 6630 is found double click the icon and its now ready for use (you can find this at the task bar located at the date panel).
              This works for me :D I hope it will work for you too. :)

                i have nokia 6600... i deleted some files in my memoray card when i tried formating it. some softwares got deleted. now i canot access internet from my mobile without that software.. so from where i can load softwares...
                the software includes software setting wizard, PTT, worldmate , photo express, kodak print application,. unlead video studio etc... Help on this

                  OH! sorry magic penguin.... am terribly sorry!I feel 6630 is far far better than 3230.u have a 220MHz monster in 6630 where as the old 112Mhz processor runs 3230, 6600 and 7610. Again, about sound, 6630 has steriophonic sound, where as 3230 and 6670 and 7610 is having mono out put. hurey to MAGIC PENGUIN

                      Hey i need help here....I installed PC Suite... and when i connect..my phone is shown there...but i cannot browse the contents... I'm using WinXP and when i try to browse the phone...it says "Operation could not be completed" help needed plz...i just cannot transfer any files from my computer!!

                        i've tried the stereo headset with 6670 and felt the music really good. i dont' think 6630's is any more better than this. the only difference might be the headsets are being provided in the sales pack with 6630 while with 6670/7610 they aren't!
                        better try by yourself and verify!

                          6630 is MUCH better then 3230... 3230 was hanging without a reason... 6630 is not hanging... 6630 it gets a little bit slow when you got many applications running... My 6630 is not hanging even when my RS-MMC (64 mb) is full. I will get one of 512 mb very soon :) At the local nokia store they told me that 6630 runs with RS-MMC at 1GB without problems... :D So don't be afraid at 512 mb.
                          About the operating system... is SYMBIAN V8.0 and you can't change that... But u can upgrade the FIRMWIRE (software version)... To do that go at you local nokia store and they will help you, but if you buy a new phone i think you will have the latest software... :)

                                  can you tell me if i use 512MB of mmc in this phone, it'll get hang or not.is this phone isnalso having hanging issues same as in nokia 3230????

                                    To close all programs hold menu key pressed for 5 seconds and a task manager will show... There you press C key on all the applications without "Telephone" to end them... That's all.
                                    In order to check the software version dial *#0000# Mine is 5.03.08
