2 the magic penguin: when you dial *#7370# you format only the phon memory, and al the pictures, music, contacts, app, that you instaled in the phone memory will be deleted! Now i have a question: where can i find a newer firmware 4 this phone, and how do i instal it? Pls help

I don't use video call but i read that you can use the 1,3mp camera or you can buy Nokia Video Call Stand PT-8. You can see it at http://www.europe.nokia.com/nokia/0,,66387,00.html
To make a video call go at Contacts/Options/Call/Video Call.

For video call u ask 2 go 4 a 6680, but there is a video call option in 6630. since its a 3g phone, it supports video call..... but how 2 use it???

If you use video call you should go for 6680 i think because it has an extra VGA camera for video call... If you don't use video call there is not a big difference between 6630 and 6680... 6680 has video call camera, flash and the display with 256K... In my opinnion the 1,3mp camera from 6630 is better then the 1,3mp camera from 6680... I don't know why but my pictures are better then the pictures made with 6680... :D If the price is not a problem i advice you to go for 6680 :D
Now my question is: When you dial *#7370# to format the phone, you format the mmc card too? What data you lose from the phone? Who did it?

to JESSICA,
did u select ur phone model number after installing the pc suite i.e.6630???dont click on 'transfer music'.instead,copy the mp3 from ur computer and paste it in ur fone memory or memory card.you can go there by goin in 'my computer-->nokia phone browser-->phone memory/memory card'.try it..no need to copy music using the 'transfer music' option.thank u.bye.6630 ROCKS!!!

i just returned my phone on the shop where i bought it and they will replace my phone but the unit only. i dont know if the virus is still in the memory card. i will get my new 6630 unit tommorow and i will check if the phone still not functioning if the memory card is inserted. i think the memory card is the problem. eventhough i formatted the memory card, when i insert it on the phone, the phone malfunctions and it always restarts every minute. if i remove the memory card, the phone works well.

To jack: you must format your phone in order 2 remove the virus! Dial *#7370# and you will format your soft!(like formatting a disk) but everything that you have in your phone will be deleted! Your phone will be exactly like when you bought it!

How do you transfer music from your pc to your phone? I have installed nokia pc suite an clicked on trasfer music but it says "no supported phone connected" please someone tell me what to do

the lights on the keypad suddenly turns off because there's a light sensor on d top(d bulb like thing..).if there's enough light around u..d keypad lights will turn off automatically.don worry, it's not a fault.it's another special feature of d best fone in d world. :-)

1.there is an 'image manager' in d media folder where there r 2 different folders, 'phone memory' images and 'memory card' images.
2.that 'LIGHTS' on the screen has 'LOWERED' because it's a SPECIAL battery saving feature of the 6630.in this way,d stand-by time increases.OK??
3.yeah..the images taken by this camera r not good in poor-light conditions.but d images taken in proper light conditions r AWESOME!!cant compare wit any other 1.3 megapixel camera fone.

hey i just bought this phone and i got some questions to ask, pls help me..
1. does the gallery view of noki6630 is different from nokia7610? coz i know in 7610 the memory card and the phone memory gallery is in different places. got my point?
2. why is dat the lights on the screen has lowered its brightness after a few seconds and on the keypad the keypad lights suddenly turns off.
3. when i took the picture, the picture is not that good, there is some distortion i think or it is just because of poor lighting in the place?

hey I bought this fone 6630 a month ago. Simply put the Phone ROCKS.. No other phone can match it.. The speed of the phone is awesome so is the MP3 Playback. The images taken by the cam are worth printing on a photo paper.. This phone has 3G.. so its future ready.. Comes with data cable so no extra bucks spent in getting the data cable.. The Bluetooth is compatible with almost all the devices. Shud also include a good appreciation for the headphones supplied with it.. it supports a decent bass.. It works with RS-DV MMC (512 Max at present) it also works with RS MMC but the battery gets drained soon.. It has Symbian Version 8 loaded..(Nokia N70 -> Symbian V8.1a, Nokia 6670 - Symbian V 7.0).. So dudes if u r gonna buy a gud phone with all the Gizmos.. 6630 is the FoNe.. Cheeers..
