i just bought this fone 2 days ago
positive traits:
1) bluetooth - for easy sharing of files
2) quadband - can be used for "out of country trips"
3) 1.3 MegaPixel Camera - for good quality pictures
4) 1 hour video recording - for long videos
5) clear display
6) good sound - great for playing songs like MP3
7) comes with video editor and movie director
negative traits:
-no infrared
-medium size( little bit of bigness)

hi! i just wanna ask if somebody else here who are using 6630 encountered a problem with the nokia photo editor that comes along with the phone. coz i have a problem with mine, it keeps saying that it can't load the image and i can't edit any photos. could anyone pls tell me how to solve this problem or give me a nice alternative application that edits a photo just like the nokia photo editor. any help will be gladly appreciated! tnx!!

Got this phone two days ago and I was really impressed. Everything inside this phone are amazing and useful. I love playing my videos full screen.
One thing that needs an improvement is the camera's sensor in low light ambient. There's a lot of noise even though the night mode is activated. Nevertheless, it takes great pics in a well lighted enviroment.
It is really a smartphone. It rocks!!!!

yeah i also hav the same problem like agung,mine 6630 got an rs mmc without dv in the sales package,and it works,when i buy dv rs mmc it also can work too so why to buy the expensive one(Dv) if the rs mmc can work at my 6630.

I think n6630 use rs-dv-mmc,you can see 1.8/3.0v in the front sticker on your "rs-mmc",maybe you think about single or dual connector between the new n original

The N6630 use rs-mmc or rs-dv-mmc? My 6630 uses rs-mmc,but when I buy a new rs-dv-mmc,it can work too! Which are better? Tell me please...

Hi to all,
To those who have problem with Nokia 6630's usb cable installation here's how to install it.
Steps
1. Install the pc suite cd on your pc.
NOTE: Do not connect the usb data cable.
2. After installing the pc suite on the pc wait for the box that says connect data cable.
NOTE: Put the usb cable and connect it your pc.
3. Now after connecting it to your pc connect the other end of the cable to your 6630 mobile phone and wait.
NOTE: Dont rush the pc and phone you have to wait coz it searches for the data cable drivers it will take about 5 to mins and if yourusing XP it will say that 6630 is found double click the icon and its now ready for use (you can find this at the task bar located at the date panel).
Hope this will help those aving a hard time installing 6630 software and hardware. Enjoy your 6630 to the fullest coz this phone rocks. Actually im trying to buy 6681 hope its as good as 6630.

I've just bought this set and its a brilliant package, overall. There's one problem I'm facing which is; I completely charge it and it works well and no matter how much applications I open, it only loses 1 segment of its battery but when I put it aside in "standby mode" in the night, the next morning I found the set off and out of charging.... Its driving me crazy... any clues???

You can use radio headset made by nokia or non radio phones it connects to the pop up port and it runs on phone battery kool headset u love it

hello people!
i have been using this phone for about one and a half months. this is a great phone and it performed beyond my expectations. it's got an excellent camera and the sound quality of the playback is also good. the only flaw i noticed in the soungd quality is that there is a kind of abnormal crackling sound when some .wav files are played. i want to know if this is the case with everyone. another annoying thing is the power switch which is placed on the right side of the phone. many a time i end up switching it off when i take it out of pocket. otherwise, this phone is really worth an investment. really good.
