this phone is a must have. and fairly competes with phones ahead of its time. those expecting something as good are going to have to waitfor some time.

hello! i had a n3230 before but i had to swap to n6630 because the n3230 has full of bugs. i have no regrets! this is a good buy!

Hi ya'll
This phone is really awesome.. sorry if someone dont understands anything im about to say because my english is very bad. i've only had Nokia telephones.. my first was the 3310.. then cam the 6100 then the 3300 and now the 6630.. im really glad i stick to nokia everytime and this phone is a little bit better then m expectations.. only with vido-calls its a little bit anoying that the camera is only on the back but i dont see any other bas feutures.. its a really usefull phone and it's every euro worth spending on it ( maybe dollars for others :P)

hi i was transfering some data from pc to phon my phon gave a message to being reset after that i have tow messages:1-memory is full delet some data 2-the startup has been failed contact the retailor . now what shall i do?

I had a Sony Ericsson k750i.
It is an awesome phone: great camera, many features, but I traded it for a Nokia 6630 simply because I've been a Nokia user since day one and didn't want to invest the time to familiarize myself with SE differences (different GUI logic, text key layout, etc).
There are also another factor: I am a three phone person, and my other two phones are also Nokias: a 6100 and an older 8310.
I already have home and car power adaptors and headsets (works in 6630 and 6100, but not with 8310) for Nokia phones, if I kept the SE I would have had to buy a whole other set of adaptors, and keep two adaptors plugged in at home.
But if these considerations don't apply to you, choose the k750i, it has a far better digital camera, not just by megapixels, but in terms of real features, e.g. autofocus vs. fixed focus, better light sensitivity, better quality MP3 player, etc.

for those of u have been asking bout the 3G thingy and bout making video calls...yes, this phone doesn't have a camera in the front..you have to get the video call stand...and place the n6630 on it...then u will be able to make video calls...
got it?
anyways...this phone IS great.

Yes, its because of the light sensor.
For me the phone works perfectly, it was worth it that I bought it.

I'M ASKING AGAIN ALL OF YOU WHO ALLEGE THAT THIS PHONE IS GOOD:How is possible to make a video-call WITHOUT a second camera or without a rotating camera.The deginers of this phone were stoned!!!

Just bought this phone a few hours ago. I don't understand why the keypad light turns off even if i am still using it. Is it because of the light sensor?

I had to return the first 6630, it died after a couple of days. 2nd phone has probs too, losing signal, can't sent txt from time to time, it freezes during lots of normal opperations. The problems go away for a while after turning off and on again. Ace camera though. I have just changed to the Sony E K700i, hope it's better.

sounds like you should take the unit back to where you purchased it from and see if they will replace it or send off to be repaired for you. i have owned this phone for about 4 months now and i haven't had a problem, so i think it would be a failure with the phone. when you get a working unit you won't be dissappointed. :)

NEED YOUR HELP
My phone starts up fine but then when you go to go into contacts it wont open the contacts list........as well as, when you press a number to dial as in 5 as soon as you press it the phone restarts. What is going on with it, it also wont set an alarm. Do these things all relate to the memory card?
Please reply as i need the phone to work

I got this phone 2 weeks ago....and I'm tellin yaaa it's awesome everytime i ride subway along my way to college and work i listen to my lovely MP 3 even though i juz have about 30 songs but its great and everybody stared at my phone hehehehe...so proud of 6630..and i wana get the 256 mb memory card...go NOKIA

hey milosh i will suggest u to by 6630 cuz it has 6x smooth zoom 10mb phone memory which would allow ur phone to work faster and it contain hotswap for the memory card and can also support 1gb card but 7610 ...
so form me i would sujjest u to take 6630 as i m using it

Can anybody tell me aboue the ringing volume of this phone. is it loud enough to hear in croud place like sonyericsson K750i. is its sound clear and sharp?
