Hey SOTTOVOCE,
I live in the US and I had the Nokia 6630 for about 4 month now. It works very good.
I have T-Mobile. I think it work with Xingular too since is a 3G phone, but if it was just a triband it might work since Xingular uses the 850 not the 900 band.

I had N6630 made by Vodaphone but it can not set mp3 files as ringtone although it can play them. I don't know why. Pls help me.

convert mpeg/avi files with Nokia multimedia converter supplied with ur pc suite.
open the file u want,then click "file" then "save as" and u should see the format in the bottom "3gpp" ,select a location and click save and thats it.

Please tell me how can i convert my mpeg or avi file in 3GPP format,you now
this is the only format that nokia 6630 sims to see it.
I want to download some clips from my computer into my phone and i cant.

well i just checked the functions of 6630 . it rox . i have 7610 its kool aswell . but the prob is it doesnt have wap . and in this site its written tht 7610 and 6630 both have wap . can any 1 help me out in telling whether 6630 has wap or not

Design not very exciting, yet very practical. After a while, your thumb has been accustomed to doing most of the work, while the fingers support the rounded lower half of the housing from the back. When watching video, press key nr.2, turn device a quarter left and hey presto, full screen (pity that its returns to normal screen when you adjust the sound). Camera good quality, gameplay not all too responsive (Sharp 902 is much quicker). Battery lasts 96 hours on standby, don't overload the battery! (once I had it on the charger all night, battery capacity now reduced to 72 hrs standby). Battery lasts 2 to 5 hrs when calling via 3G or playing games or watching video continuously, it even runs warm then. Clear and simple menu layout, holds no more secrets after a week of rummaging through all functions (typical Nokia stronghold). The aperture covered with clear transparant plastic, next to the loudspeaker holes you hold to your ear, has a light sensitive element behind it, to allow the phone to adjust its display brightness to the ambient lighting. It reacts very sluggish to changes in ambient light (only after seconds), that's why people don't make this connection and this aperture has become a bit mysterious. Alas, it's no second camera, you'll have to trade it in for a Nokia 6680 or buy the special camera desk stand to add a front camera to the 6630. But in all fairness; how many people do you know that you would like to videophone with, with considerable cost per minute?

hey guys.nokia is the besr ph maker..6630 is rocks.all symbiyan rocks.there will be no prob if u take some of those:
1.always delete huge communication logs.
2.never install any 3rd parties software
3.use it as a computer.
4.use the perfect batteries & chargers(beware abt the bat & chargers models)
5.i have already used 5 symbian series nokia phones, there has no problem arises.

i used to be nokia connecting to me n i disconnect my self from nokia to sony ericsson n nokia sucks n sony rocks n belive it or not up to u n 6630 the worst battery n design n look at s700i n k750i n simply beautiful

nokia 6630 vs Nokia 6670.I wanna buy a new phone but i dont know what should i choose between 6630 and 6670.I know that 6630 is smarter than 6670 but it looks strange.I like 6670 but it's under 6630.What is your opinion.I wanna know opinions from person who have 6670 to.Thanks

6630 is the best phone ever by nokia. i m very happy to buy nokia 6630. it just amazing.
