Anyone else found that spellings added vis the predictive text are periodically lost and you need to put them in again?

hay gays i am confused weather i should by 6630 or any othere phone.i heared there is my problem in this phone. any any one tell me what is this frimware. pls help me.

i got this phone 5 days ago.this is a phone that got everything should be on a phone and something more. till now i get no problem on it. the video capt.. quality is not so good whatever i got a dv cam.for them whos going to buy this phone....BEFOR USING THE PHONE SHOULD READ THE MANNUAL AND USE CAREFULLY

It has a mono speaker but has stero capabilities and can be utilized with the supplied (high quality) handsfree headset.

it ain't the only phone that does not vibrate while charging. most of cell phones do so, and i suppose that nobody keeps the phone in his pocket to feel it vibrate while charging :)

The 6630 is a better choice.
To Hari:
The battery life is average and I am happy with the phone in general. MP3 playing does consume alot of battery power but not excessively.And yes, there are quite a couple of viruses for these types of phones (symbian. Just be careful. A friend of mine has a 7650 and someone bluetoothed him a virus that sends mms's to everyone in his phonebook every ten minutes. I went onto symantecs page and got the instructions on How to remove (with FEplorer)
To sslee:
The 6630 does not have a touch screen.
To all the other people who have problems with their phones, what firmware version is installed on your phone. Try a software upgrade. I had mine done this past weekend.
Ps:
The phone should not give any error message without a card inserted.

Nokia 6630 is definitely better than 6670. In terms of the Features as well as the appearance.

Iam after some help, when i go to message someone the mesage screen only opens for a fraction of a second before going back into the menu screen....it also wont let me set an alarm, i hit set alarm and it goes back to the menu screen. What have i done to it? Any help please reply, phone is 4mnths old.

has any body tried the martin fields overlay plus power extender on their fone,it is suupposed to increase batt by 30%.im trying to get hold of one from a local shop ie link etc ,but can only find these batt extenders on net.they could help 3g fones last that bit more neare to our gprs counterparts.perhaps there hype and a con but heres hoping.

Hello there. There's a chance for the memory card to get corrupted when it,s not inserted properly or u remove it when some operation is going on? I remember the note in manual that there's a chance for the memory card to get permanently damaged when such a thing happens. So better contact a nokia shop.

Hello guys. Does playing mp3 consume a lot of battery power? Can someone tell me how much talktime u get out of ur 6630 in GSM network? I have no idea bout my phone but i'm sure the battery is very poor especially when i browse.

i was exploring the programs of my 6630 when it hanged and showed "memory corrupted"!
and all my programs deleted!my effort in formatiing the card brings no resluts!i even tried formatting the card with 6670 and a laptop.no result again.what should i do?any opinion?

i just bought Nokia 6630..my most interesting is i really wanna have my ringtone set as Mp3 format..but once i transferred my mp3 tune into my nokia 6630.. the phone displayed ''Unable to set as tone, file format not supported''..then i converted my mp3 tune to .AAC format..the phone still displayed the same.. What can i do to have truetone or Mp3 ringtone without downloading from the Ringtone Service providers
please help me thanks :)
