i agree that kanaan does not have even a basic idea about 3g phone and he is posting rubbish posting actually people who just see phone in magazine and never use phone put bias less posting giving wrong imformatiom for other people who really wants to buy the product so kanaan when u buy this phone then post ur comments then I will presume that yes u gave logical view

hi... well in singapore the nokia 6630 is not neglacted @ all.. well i have 1 and i heard tat lots of pple are getting this phone without noeing this is a 3G phone... @ 1st i din noe about it being a 3G phone but after asking the gal @ the counter in singtel... she told me everything about nokia 6630 tat is when i decied this is the phone!!! the phone cost about $588(with 2yr plan and free sim card) and they actually give the video stand for free when u get a nokia 6630 there.

how long should i charge my 6630 battery??how long the battery can stay for a full charge??my 6630 battery jz can stay for 2-3days..sometimes less than a day..

i have a really rubbish samsung a800 and i hate it its a rubbish fone so im finkin of buyin a new fone. im having trouble wot fone to get i want a symbain fone (so dats y i choose nokia) wit a good camera and a good mp3 playa but i want a fone priced between £200-£300 im only 17 yrs old so i wont be using much of the business features like edge etc on the fone so i narrowed my search to nokia 6630 and the nokia 7610 but the fing dat draws me bac from the nokia 6630 is the price and the fing dat draws me bac from the 7610 is dat it has been out for a while and getting a bit of a old fone. im bot sure wot one to get out of the two so can u plz help me decide wot fone to get out of the 2

On this phone can you put games and programs on the memorycard, and then use/play them on the phone? Is there a particular feature that lets you do that?
Because i have a gx30i and i can't put games on the memory card and then play them on the phone

This phone does not suppport 3g. Do you know what is meant by 3g or do you know what is meant by video conferencing.Video conferencing is through which people can not only hear what the other person is talking but also see him through the persons camera. If the camera is one the back side of the phone how can this be possible. In singapore and dubai this phone is neglected and my friend in Nokia India also has advised me not to take this phone. They adviced me to take 6230i or 6680. See I accept that this phone has very nice features and the best camera so far from nokia ( I dont know about 6680). But if you want an 3g this is not the phone for it sir.
Dont think that I am posting bad comments just for fun because everything is absolutely true.

Anyone know how to get their software version updated? Through Nokia at their office or download from the net? If so, where and how? This phone has now been shut off and just been sitting there for over a 2 weeks now, useless thing while it keeps earching for 3G and never detects 3G while using a GSM card it never sees the GSM and keeps searching for that damn 3G! Nokia should have a recall out on this phone!

this for those people who put wrong posting
i am using nokia6630since 5 months and also firm wire is 3.15 the latest now i have some question for those people why they post wrong impression when they dont know what is diff between 3g and normal phone this phone is working fine and also I am using 3 g service no problem then without using why poeple jump to conclusion and give wrong imformation for people who want to buy product beyond my heads and sorry guys unless u use product fully please dont post wrong imformation saying product is failure
it is one of good phone and stable phone

This phone does not support 3g as the camera is on the back side of the phone .In the 3g camera should be on the front side for video conferencing etc.Just check out the Motorola V1150 and Nokia 6680 which is completely a 3g as it has camera on the front side. So beware already in places like singapore and dubai this phone is called as failure model and it is neglected. Also slowly the phone is producing some software problems. So wait and get 6680 or 6230i or K750. Dont buy this phone.

If you simply want to make phone calls or SMS this phone is not for you. It loses reception too easily probably cos it's looking for 3G & the fonts are too small.
So buy a cheap phone that will be more reliable & have decent font size.
Then if you want a decent camera & MP3 player then buy this..... CASIO EXILIM M2. 2M pixel camera & stereo mp3 player for about £50 !
Trying to get a decent phone & decent camera & MP3 player all in one device is not possible unless someone makes a better attempt at it than Nokia's 6630 !

it all depends on what you expect. if you want a good phone with a good camera and video recording functions, this is it!
if you want funky features or think that you pay so much you need to use every feature to max, it may disappoint.
to me, it is a good phone. being expensive has a bit of snob appeal but for me it really has not let me down.
Obviously, there are those for and those against the 6630. so there you go, one man's meat is another man's poison.
information about the phone is good before you buy but i think you should decide whether you want to buy a phone or not, and not let others decide for you. make sense?
