which one has better CAMERA & DISPLAY quality?

I've been using this 6630 for a while and there's no problem with it. But sometimes it reboots itself but it's normal with the series 60 phones. The camera's great but lags a second. The line's great and there's no problem at all. Love this phone but I need more memory. 1 or 2 GB's please Nokia. Make the 1GB@2GB RS DV MMC faster!

I just bought my 6630 in malaysia.
its firmware dated 4th Jan 2005.
the question is, there is a TIM word under the screen and the "connection to GPRS on the zero button" is red instead of blue...
may i know whats the difference betweem, normal 6630?

its a good phone but my memory card seems to have corrupted and stop working altogether, the phone also cannot find the memory card. Took it to nokia shop where they carried out a software update but still no luck. they told me to send it off to nokia which i may do unless anyone has any idea how to solve this problem? cheers!

Andy mine has same prob. It's gone back to Nokia but I don't imagine they can fix unless they can switch of 3G in my 6630. Anyone know if this can that be done ?
If not & they won't refund my money I'll just flog the heap of **** on Ebay.
Anyone want to buy a 6630 ?

This thing is driving me up the wall now. It keeps searching for 3G networks and shows no coverage. When in Auto mode it goes to 3G and then shows no coverage, when in manual mode it will allow you to chose after chosing it will find the network selected and then after a few minutes it will go to that damn 3G again.. Very bad bug in this system.. This part is very unstable other then that it is a nice phone if you can ever use it.

I've finally bought the N6630...neat phone! But I'm a newbie at using it so pls help...
How do I convert FULL videos to put into d phone? How do I install new aplications?(must I keep the .sis files?)

One other point. The loss of reception on my 6630 often occurs in my house & in my office where there is still enough signal for my old Nokia 2100 to work so Nokia can't blame the 6630 reception problems on the area !

That's interesting. The guy in the Nokia shop said others were having loss of reception probs with their 6630's so they were missing calls.
Nokia need to remember it's a phone 1st & foremost, not a PDA & camera & then a phone second !
If I can't get a phone & camera combi that works properly as a phone then I'll buy a separate phone as I've already got a digital camera.
I'm not happy & as for the stupid tiny fonts... they are ridiculous !
The screen is larger than most phones yet the fonts are smaller. WTF !

I was having those missed call problems too. Made it worse with the delay in getting texts to tell me. found out 25 minutes after 2 missed calls, earlier this week. I was told to make a note of where I was when I missed the call. Told the person on the other end of the phone how the hell I should know where I was 25 minutes before if I was driving

that is exactly the problem i'm having.. my firmware is 2.39 so theres no option to switch between 3G or GSM only. It killed my simcard 2 times already.
btw 3G is doing testing in my area (every sunday got no signal)

Returned my 6630 to the Nokia shop today. Not happy with it. It loses signal more often than my cheap 2100. The salesman said maybe cos it's looking for 3G. Anyway I'm fed up with calls going to my voicemail due 'out of signal' where my old phone phone used to work !
Also the fonts are too small & the battery barely lasts a day.
6630's ARE CRAP !

For anyone having problems with the length of time it takes to receive messages and message sending failures.
After a long, unhelpful call to Orange (my network provider) about this, I decided to switch the phone to GSM from 3G (option in the Tools~Settings menu) as I don;t use the 3G option too often.
Up until now, this seems to have worked.

anyone from KL/PJ (malaysia) area know where i can flash new firmware for my N6630, i asked nokia care centre in One Utama and they say it could take atleast 1 or 2 weeks.
Anywhere faster? Can I also get the phone number to the place also..

6630 is much better then samsung d500! Exspecially if you want a good camera. I have Nokia 6630 and I compared camera with my friend who has D500. He allmost cryed!

Can someone advise me..is there noticable diffenance bt 65K and 262k screen/colur. I am debating whether to purchase the samsung d500 or nokia6630. can someone give me advice or guidance what would be a better phone. that would be greatly appreciated. thanks
