Nice fat looking phone, have been using it since June 2006. Never gave any problem but had to replace the BL-5C battery last year somewhere in June 2010. Pretty tough phone. Fallen off my hands a lot of times and still works like a charm. Never hung up, never gave any transmission related problems. I wish to still carry on using it but now time has come to replace this baby as there are other better phones available in the market.

Nokia 6630 its not a handset its a mini pc the downloading is very fast.But sometime its shows the memory is ful close some application.I am using this handset for 5&half years

I bought Nokia 6630 in Feb. 2006 & still using it i.e. 20-May 2011.. I love it too & despite my rough handling,it has completed more than 5 yrs with me. but now it has grown old & get problem in Display. anyway, it's a great Handset... but, time to buy6 a new1, I'm thinking of Nokia
E72, any1 knows abt it plz. suggest. !

How can one activate the 3G and videocall in 6630?.
Please also tell me how to minimize apps so that it won't show the word "memory full please try again later" when opening some apps

I m using this great phone frm since 2006 n still using the same and I found only one reason to get new one that its internal memory is 10 MB so we cant do multitasking in this phone.But I love this phone.

quite a good durable phone ,mine was bought for me in 2007up to now i have not changed the battery.

Great phone. Works great, turns on/off quickly, lasts for a week without charging, keys better than they look. Literally the only thing I didn't like about it was the fact that it's fugly.

With this mobile I can download my files faster more than 20 kbps download spped which is better than a computer. I am using it since 2005 but still it doesnt provide an idea to change thus

why nokia stops manufacturing this type of phone? these phone are much more better then the phone that are releasing now. (eg: 6600/6630/6680/6681)

My wifes gift last Oct 2007.Up to now it still works perfectly.Droped many times but still no problem with it.Internet is good,videocall is good.I realy love it.Battery already runs out but I will try 6c coz someone posted back up increased in 20%.Still amazed me.

Itz nt a phone it mini computer . Itz very good for internet it give constant speed 6 kbps in edge network really amazing phone

Would the BL-6C battery fit into this phone or other phones using BL-5C? I still would want to try it in the shops for an actual fit but I had read in the past that other users were opting for the 6C because it has 20% battery life compared to the 5C.. Any comments please?

I wish this phone had a 128mb ram and 256mb rom, has forward facing camera, 5mp camera and an S60v3 OS and 256k TFT screen, but otherwise i love this phone! I'll keep using this until its still in good condition! ü

this led looking thing on front panel is a light detector.
when you put the finger on it the keyboard backlight will turn on
