ahmed, 17 May 2008I need help I can't set the mp3 music file as ringtone PLS ... moredear its simple, first of all copy the mp3 file either in ur fone or external memory.then follow
menu>profile(select any u want to set)>personalize>ringing tone>(here u may select the ur favorite mp3 tone (as all mp3 are there) thats all

i have probles because my 6630 doesn't accepting .wma,.nth format etc. whats the problem...

hey,
i found out this worthy tweak for all 6630 cell phones evn the ME version:
goto the "To-do" application
and create a new "To-do note"
on subject write this "Speed"(without "")
on Due Date write this "29/01/2005"
and Set the priority to "High"
press done
don't Exit again create a new "to-do" note
and this time
the subject should be "Goukie"(without "")
on Due Date write this "29/01/2005"
and Set the priority to "low"
Press done
after creating these 2 notes
go to options of To-do notes and press on "mark as done" on both the notes.
then restart your phone.
you will notice a change in response speed and stuff. thou this might sound "un-technical" but u can chk the ram usage before and after if u have any "task explorer"

If you're using the software bundle - go to the music manager, go to settings and set it so files don't need to be "converted" - it you have a big enough simm memory card the conversion option is stoopid. Next click the "Nokia" tab on the music listing, be sure your not looking at the other sections (because they're meaningless). Once your looking at your phones hard drive, drag your mp3s on. They still take forever to copy, even with "conversion" turned off. Now the intuitive-part, select the files you want one-by-one by clicking on them and holding down control (or shift if you know how that works), now go down to the little icons at the bottom - one of them creates a playlist (from your selected tracks). Do this. You may or may not notice that a no name "playlist file" just got added as the last track on your mp3 file listing (scroll down if necessary to see it). Rename this appropriately to whatever playlist title you'd like to have (so you can find it later). Next put on the cracked out headphones because since it has no-god dam-headphone-jack, you're forced to use they're fugged set-up. Kick back, open a cold one a marvel at knowing how bad interface design can really be!

I need help I can't set the mp3 music file as ringtone PLS someone help. I had updated firmwre over the air from Nokia's support page but still nothing. When I try to do that i get message : Unable to set as tone. File format not supported!!

its a gr8 set, havin kewl featurez!!! myko, if u r havinb probz with your set, try formatting it. if u dunno how, turn it off. then press 3 button,*button and call button and while doing so,turn your set on. remember, all the buttons shud b pressed simultaneously.

maybe your phone is only unlocked from other networks like vodaphone.. try to upgrage the firmware
