to jher:
no more activation needed, all you need just activate your sim card to enable the use of 3G feature. when you done, you can easily use the video call by choosing video call from the calling menu...

Video call need pt8 stand. fast phone. less lagg. res to low. all and all very nice phone

Its easy to text and do the basics the photo quality is alright but it doesnt have a good night mode or light for night time pictures. Its videos isnt anything to rave about but its okay. If you want to video call i would not suggest this phone because you wont be able to see the person you talking to or they wont be able to see you. because the camera is at the back. But overall its a pretty strong phone just not advanced enough.

hey guys im having a problem with my unit!!My batteries runs out easily!i already buy new battery but still it runs out easily..once i fully charge it i can only used it for about 12hrs..i only used it for regular text and call..my friend said it is becuse my 3g is always on.but when i check my network settings there is no network selection for dual mode or gsm mode..what should i do..pls help me guys

does the fone features video-calling?i know some1 hu hav this fone and she says that she already tried one.but my other friend who has this says it doesn't.?what's for real guys?

faisal whats your fones firmware? I suggest upgrading your fones firmware and emptying the fone memory by transferring all the data to the memory card
cause my 6630 can run 5-6 apps at a time ^_^

Its photo quality is nice.But it is too heavy.Its operating system is very easy.I like my phone.Its card slot system is good.No need to open the casing.But it does not mention how much external memory can be expandable

Well, thats a light sensor on the top right of the fon. When u r infront of bright light, the fon's screen wil bcom much brighter.. So that u can see clrly.. Wen u r in dark d screen wil fade a bit.. Its for Power saving... Coz in dark it wil b very easy to see the fons content with a minimum display Backlight... One thing I don't like about 6630 is I cant run more than 2 apps at the same time.

Thnx for response.Now i try to explain the prblm more.I saw that same prblm in my other frnd's 6630 who has upgraded to firmware's 6.03 version or arnd that.Actually i run 2/3 chatting or net required apps like mig33,shootsend or opera mini etc...So,when i use mig33 n shootsend,then goes to open cell's web browser or opera mini...Other previously running apps go off,or phone shows memory full warning n doest open the app i try to open.Well,ths thng is like virtual memory in windows in computers.Whenever it gets full,it closes other apps to run the next attempted app.That what i wana know how to increase that memory,whereas in N series it doesnt happen,my frnds who use N series,can open many apps like mig33 at a time.Hope i culd made the prblm much clear.Now will be waiting for solution.Again tnx for responding.Tc.Bye.

That light is actually a light sensor,It activates and deactivates the keypad lights according to a lit or an unlit surrounding.

Hello Faisal,
Try to upgrade your phone's firmware. The latest firmware is 6.03. Try that. This is very unusual problem i ever heard. Try to upgrade the firmware. You can do it by taking it to nokia service center or you yourself do it. Since its an old phone Nokia serv center will bill you. So update it online. go to nokia website n instruction r there regrading how to update ur phone. checkit out. Thanks. Keep buzzing

Hi all 6630 fans n sum haters.I love this cell...But i dont have enough bucks to buy new one.So i am deciding to buy a 2nd hand cell from my friend.But i got a problem wch making me sad,n thatz i cant run more than 2 apps at a time,whereas i wana buy this specially to run multi apps at a time with a good speed of both gprs n processor.It has 512mb of memory card n shows around 1.8mb of ram.Whenever i start 3rd app,either 1 or both of the previously running apps go/es off.Kindly tell me what to do in such case?Hope will get some help.Plz mail me if possible at raj_faisal2004@yahoo.com...Tc all.Bye.N sorry for my bad english

Great phone, I buyed it 2 years ago and I still like it, and I wouldn't change it for any other phone. I really documented myself when I buyed it. Back than, only the 6680 was greater, but 6630's design it's nicer in my opinion. Camera is great, great photos, reat movies. I really recommend this phone!
