first of all to my knowledge.. 1gb DV-rs-mmc card is still not lauched...so..how can u check whether it works wid this cel or not...

6680 cannot support 1GB memory card because I try it before! the max can go is 512MB.

can anyone confirm whether or not the 6680 will take a 1GB Memory card.I've ordered a Kingston Memory 1gb Multimediacard Plus. my firmware is v2.04.15 04-03-05 RM-36. I have a feeling this is quite old.

The phone can support max up to 512MB DV-RSMMC (I ever checked with Nokia Care) and the video recording time max up to 1 hour and the number of MP3 song can loaded in to it is depend on your total memory (phone + DV-RSMMC).

what a great handset.Best phone ive had yet.I use a Kingston 512 MMC and by using a bit rate convertor i can fit nearly 300 mp3 songs on it.(All-in-one audio convertor)
does anyone out there know any good free software sites.

Just bought a Kingston MMC 512 MB MOBILE DV CARD Which should be compatible with my Nokia 6680, but it is just stating that there is no memory card inserted. Can anyone help please?

my operator logo in upper right hand corner inside a big white oblong box,,if i send off for remove operator logo it may remove vodafone logo and still leave the white oblong box,,what is best method of getting rid of please.I dont mind if logo is still on just no wite box.Still a belting phone & still awaiting 1gb memory card.went to a 3g area yesterday & its download speeds are on par with "3"network.I got thru the day some what anxiously with playing games on the journey there & 12mins of phone calls 9txts,plus 10mbytes downloading,,games on way back & still on 2 bars before going to bed and still got me up in morning on 2 bars so was fairly impressed.NB my display is 15 seconds on, 1 minute screensaver and next notch down from full brightness & no bluetooth on.had trouble with ringtones not loud enough so glad i still choose to keep vibration on but the trouble is in the morning when alarm goes off its full blast with vibration & can cause a heart attack!!!Its been a problem on every phone ive had.All apps & mp3s awaiting download to 1gb card then all will be great.

i think your fone got the latest virus. it destroys all datas stored in the memory card. one cause is upon installation of unknown softwares with attached virus...sorry, i forgot the name.

i've this cell for bout 5 months now(bought it in june)n believe me guys its jus perfect... stereo sound is comparable(though lil less) to ipod (if u install mp3player 3.40)... n internet runs jus so smooth on this cell..infact i use it sometimes to run net on my comp. n it give me speed of bout 70-80 kbps.. on GPRS..amazing..camera is also gud for a cell(but not now.. due to n90 n k750i lot) also... i use my awesome sony in-ear earphones wid this cell(wid d help of connector) n they r simply amazing...well no point upgrading to n70....so im waiting for either n91 or ne other fone releasing nxt yr...n guys u wud not regret buying this...coz i have it for bout 5 months now.. n im still not bored....nokia rocks...

hey guys its off topic but seeing ur knowledge will cellfones...i own a nokia 6600 and i wanna install mp3 players so i can play mp3 files on it, i was wondering how can i install apps n mp3 players using a memory card reader, thanks hoping u guys can help me, in new to this, thanks.
