hi..
this phone is great. it's still not available in Malaysia. Anyone knows how much it costs if it's available in Malaysia? too bad that 6690 doesnt have built-in radio n infrared. otherwise, it will be perfect.

is possible to listen the radio with the nokia 6680, is there any nokia device or gadget (Nokia Display Headset HS-6)to connect to the phone for it?

The front camera can be used to take photos also. just bought the phone from singtel. Everything looks good. On down side is that it has no radio and infra ray built in. Generally video call quality is still considered good with both wired headset and bluetooth headset.
Battery life is acceptable. It lasted me for abt 3 days with bluetooth activated.
Have not encounted any problems to far,

yes nokia is coming out new models very day but its all about business n its up to u guys or gals to decide n dont complain that nokia playing tricks that 6630 n 6680 r the same n only minor changes n i am a mad man who changes hp every time n even i dont complain because i love what i am doing n now it become my hobbie n its in injected in my blood n thers a big compettion among the mobile world n sony ericsson are banging new phone so is every mobile makers n she bang she bang n william hung also a fan of nokia n ambassador for nokia since he become famous n all of u out ther must follow his foot steps n althrough i might the best n will try my very best n bye bye bye bye

hari I agree with u nokia is launcing 10 3g phones having same features of nokia6630and 6680 so we may get more option and also nokia6630is better than nokia6680 because after software 3.15 its battery life have improved alot and hope coming version even have more features solved

Hey guys. Nokia is trying to fool all of us. Just moths has passed after the release of 6630. This phone has only a very few extra feature when comparing my 6630 like 256k and dual video call. Nothing new. Beware nokia may introduce some other phone soon after u get 6680,joining u all in my list.

Yeah, RM2700 is way too expensive!
Not worth it for individuals. But the specs...can tell it is around that price i suppose. Great phone though, but the price scares ppl off. In other countries maybe not...

Malaysia original Zitron set of the Nokia 6680 is about RM2700 (USD710). Very expensive. This 6680 still crashes with blutooth connection & 3G mode.
This 6680 phone only differ from 6630 by the controller chip producing low end 256k colors, flash & front video conferencing camera.
In malaysia/singapore/thailand/indo, 3G network are not setup & does not support video live conference. But they cripple the RAM on the 6681 to 8meg comapre to 10megs on the 6680/6630. Processor speed of 220mhz is the same with 6630/6680/6681. Might as well buy the stable version of 6630 for much less at RM1800.

Excellent phone, I'm really on a deadlock between it and an upcoming HP iPaq hw6500. I know the first is a smartphone and the second a (much more powerful) PDA-phone but the UMTS-support is a really winner here in the EU.
Anyway, we're definitely in front of a sure best-seller that will further boost SymbianOS as well!

I just compared Nokia 6680 with 6630, about the ringtone, is model 6680 doesn't able to use mp3 for ringtone but 6630 can be done? I just wonder before I wanna buy it....If it can not use mp3 to set as ringtone, I wouldn't consider to buy, expects, pl advise..Thank you :>

Nokia is no doubt a no1 phone manufacturer in the world ..but lacks of new innovations,creativity for their future phones...6680 is powerful 3g phone but Nokia needs to improve their screen to 240 * 320 pixel and not to stay on 176*208 standard screen, longer battery life ,more powerful camera and processor to continue their no 1 lead in the market ... but the price should be reasonable 2 ... Nokia is the no 1

Finally the 6680 is out in Malaysia today. It's thicker than the 6630. Of course it crashes.
So my advice is not to buy it for 3 months or buy a 6630 instead.
