Sure, you can change the cover of the phones. Both of the them use the standard RS-DV-MMC(Reduce Size Dual Voltage MultiMedia Card),currently 1gb card is available. Moreover, I heard the latest standard MMC Mobile(MMC Mobile is a type of DV RSMMC) will ultimately replace standard DV RSMMC completely. The cards can run in higher bandwith applications, and have a theoretical max transfer speed of up to 52mb p/s, and will work on the later nokia phones like N series. This is great!

I've personally owned both the 6630 and the 6680.
The 6630 was the best phone I ever owned. The 6680 is the best phone I've ever owned.
Understand that the difference between the 6680 and the 6681 is the VGA camera (made primarily for video calls) and the fact that the 6680 is a 3g phone while the latter is not.
I would easily choose the 6680 over the 6630 because it looks way better, it's easier to hold and it doesn't feel awkward because the weight is more or less evenly balanced.
If you want the cheaper phone go in for the 6630. There is nothing wrong with it at all!It's amazing! In fact, one thing I can say easily about it being better than the 6680 is the keypad. It was out of this world.
If, however, you don't mind paying that little bit extra for some extra goodies and features, go in for the 6680.

the nokia 6680 is a brialaint phone...it has all the functions that a cellphone should have.it is exellent.i would highly recomend it to anyone.

actually i love it soo much, also i already have one ! it has a great specifications also it is too flixible in use .. it is not that heavy not that small .. just as what a business women want ! try it

me n my frens really wan to know wats the diffrents between 6680 262k n 6630 65k??? And is the sound quality is the same(if im not wrong they both uses STEREO speaker rite?)

There are many softs that play mp3 like Powermp3, Alon mp3 player, oggPlay, CubiX MP3 Player, UltraMP3, MultiMedia Player, ...etc. You can find it using google or email me, I send you some apps.

As CuLe mention, the major difference between these two phones is the 3G function available on 6680, other than that they are identical and very GOOD. And also,the 6680 is a bit more expensive than 6681. So if you plan to use 3G service in the future or your budget is not tight you should get 6680. I heard that 3G network will be provided by Singular(in the us) in a few months. I personally think 6680 look cooler with the second camera infront.

to alex- it's normal...every symbian phones with series 60 is running slow when u start
to 6680 so just go ahead and lock ur phone by locking codes.
Actually the difference between 6680 and 6681 is that 6680 uses 3G, it has 2 cameras, one for shooting and one for video calling, but this function still cannot use in the US because the phone service provider doesnt support that service. The image qualitiy of both phones is the same.

thanx for your advice, but locking keyboard by clicking meniu and * doesn't help with 6680. I think it's the same with all symbian phones. is there any program for locking keyboard?

As far as i know, motorola lets us operate their phones on the computer through mobile phone tools. I don't think we can do that with nokia phones.

to 6680..there are two ways that u can lock ur keypad and ur phone...to lock ur keypad..just click the left key that is next to the call key(green key)first, then click the * key immediately. To lock ur phone, u have to know the lock code keys, with this function, u can lock ur phone even when u lost ur phone, noone can make any call or changes unless they know the lock code.
