i;m using nokia 9300 since one month but the only thing it lacks is the vibrator which it cant have obviously, i;m confused whether to changed it from a 6681 cuz it has somewhat similar features like office documents and mp3 etc and moreover 1.3mp..can any 6681 user advice me as how good this phone is?

Hello,
I have Nokia 6681, Very First Day I have a problem with It,I am useing cash card only cash cards have this problem ,on Post paid their is no problem.After Finishing the call, When balance sms come from the operator the Redial system stuck.again Switch of the phone then on it ever thing goes ok, until I make another call. I think their is some proble in the software. If yes then please tell me what to do, where I can found the software please help me.

hi benson cheers! This is da best phone. Go to symbianx.com or dotsis.com/vb and u will find everything 4 ur hp and that too all regestered. These are forums and u will have to register first then u can download anything

hey Guys!!!Can yr'l giv me sum gud links for downloading softwares like mp3 player etc for my 6681!!!Its a Nice piece of Art Nokia has come up with this phone>>>>has taken up all the other Lower existing Models.. Let put this On TOP of all!!Has got all tht a Hi-End Mobile user wud like to have!!! But Wait I just checked an Upcoming Model whic wil defeat the 6681, tht wil break yr ears with CD quality Super Sound better den the SE K750i, So guys if yr'l r planning for a change in yr Model, u can wait til Dec for a High priced 4 GB, Wi-Fi, 3G, 2 m. hi ppl sold my 3230 and bought this toy played with it for the last 5 days and oh my god its the best phone ive used till date its sound is much better and is simply awsome i dont know why u ppl are complaining abt this phone i didnt face any problems . the only thing i miss is radio. but then mp3 is quite cool. just wanted to know is there any 256mb dual voltage rs mmc available 4 this phone.and how much would it cost in india delhi.and can i use my normal rs mmc i used in my 3230

Thanks Buddy Benson for supporting my post i have been experimenting my phone with all kind of softwares and the best part is most of the themes for nokia 6600 are compatible with the Nokia 6681 no doubt i miss the FM from my previous model (Nokia3230) I guess with the sound quality the phone can be compared to a Apple IPod and it is truely amazing I just purchased a Blue Tooth Hands free for the phone it connects at great speed and the clarity is just to good i dont know i cant stay away from this phone for more than 2 mins :) Three cheers to Nokia and Nokia Fans

In some cases what you said is true, but if the package is not authenticated from Nokia itself means some part(s) are not genuwine.
The OS upgrade only changed the way the device manuvers, go check Nokia Care Center again, and they will tell you the same thing.
Been studying and modifying phones for many years now, especially Nokia's, and what I experienced may do good to you as well as it did for me.

castillo_corp wat u said isint quite correct if every nokia phone works that way why do my 6681 last for 4 days with frequent use?and his less than 12 hours.. i encountered the same problem b4 took it to nokia care center the first time the upgraded the software problem still there went back 2nd time they change a batt for me and its working perfectly alright now...remember to charge the batt for 8-10 hours the first time..i did not charge it for 8 hours the first time and that MAYBE the problem which caused the batt draining rapidly.

The problem is common, this phone is equipped, with an OS(operating software), and eats out the battery, and another is the Network, if you have too much signal, the phone tries to repel it to just normal signal but still eats battery, or no signal at all, the phone eats out the battery to get signals.

No you can not do it yourself, go to a nearest Nokia Care Center, they'll do it for free.

My phone's battery doesn't work for even 12 hours in stand by mode and gets discharges if attended couple of calls. I replaced the battery with new one but results is same. I even formatted my phone to check about any possibilities of worm but result are same. can any one tell me why it's happening ?

benson wat u said are just ur opinions about people. the others have the right to say wateva they want about the phone regardless of where they were assembled, its still NOKIA..NOKIA should have the QA done. there are also REAL nokia 6681 users with their opinions and u shouldnt condemn them.who knows whether u are a nokia lover or not?right?if u say others are of other phone lovers den u are a nokia phone lover wat makes u different from the others?its better to stay open and read the comments and judge them urself.

hey U people,,,,Sorry for a slight error in my previous posts,, in the last lines I mean to say Dont Buy Nok 6680 if yr country does not support 3G network...instead of Buying 6680 go for 6681,,,since the only diff in both is the 2 cameras.. but the front Cam requires 3G feature frm the service provider.& ive even heard frm others tht de sound quality of 6681 is more better den 6680. plz ignore the Mistake in de Number

I surely agree with Mr.Shuja>>I've purchased my 6681 from an Authorised Nokia Dealer in Dubai(JUMBO electronics,karama)I Think the people who complain must have either purchased their set from a 3rd Class Grade Outlet wherin the Cell is assembled in China or other parts Eastern Asia with low quality Craftmaship or they must be wanting People Not to Buy Nokia handsets & r lovers of other brands, writin fake Posts.3 weeks past Ive been using this Phone Day & Nite playing Music,Clicking Photos,playing games & installed 3rd party softwares like smart movie 2.76,call recorder,themes, fs caller 3.01, Autolock, Wallpaper changer, efilemanager 1.75,eprofiles,extended recorder, 2.06 photo editor etc.(installed ultramp3 plyer, but doesnt wrk properly. But i dont neeed that cus der's already a music player)Wot more do yr'l want me to write bout this Cell>>So U Smart People all over de World, dont go for Nok 6681 if yr country doesnt provide 3G network,Just listen to me Nokia 6681 is a Smart Phone which acts very smart & faster in opening applications..So just go for it!!! 3 Cheers to all Nokia Lovers

Dear All
I have bought this phone and its more than 20 days i have no problems with the phone i find the phone just amazing and no problems i wonder how people have camera problems when i dont have and call logs are fine my phone never hung inspite of me installing 3rd party softwares and the themes are just to good . I guess this phone is worth the money all i miss from the phone is the FM radio which it does not have . I am waiting for the next upgrade of this phone 6682

The latest firmware version for 6681 is RM-57
v 3.10.6, and for the 6680 is RM-36
v 3.04.36
