been using this Phone a few Weeks>>A very good Phone....One of the Best Phones of NOKIA!!!I find all what I needed in a Phone....Zoom is excellent.I just developed sum snaps clicked frm de Phone they r Quality Photographs.Mp3 sound is good but not like SonyEr. K750i but far more better than 6600 & 7610

Bought my 6681 a few days ago, very happy with its performance. Pros; Symbian OS is great and very flexible, good battery life w/wo blue tooth, rich in apps, lots of mem. Cons; NO IR?! What's up with that? I only need it to transfer contact info from old to new phones, but it would be good to have. I spent 10 minutes searching for the IR lens before realizing it doesnt have it. Also, too embarassed to tell people how much I paid for it. Don't know about the camera res as i have 0 interest in using the camera, but thought it might come in handy someday. But overall, good phone, very flexible, meets my needs, and then some. On a scale of 1 to 10 on reccomendation, I'd give it a 7.5

my opinion, not worth the money. if u are using 1MP phone, forget about this phone. Not much GREAT different between 1MP and 1.3MP, quality not really that impressive a lot. Moreover, this phone does not have a super sound. Be practical.

I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MORE OVERPRICED PHONE. This fone is sooooo overpriced. Ya it has symbian but $450. Yar right i think it is not worth for the money u spent. Think 5 times before buying this fone.

I really think that Nokia 6681 is a good performance cell but on the whole, it is rather big. But Nokia always get the same mistake: A 1.3M camera is not clear as another cellphone of Samsung or SonyEricksson. The video and pictures' quality is bad. So, I suggest everybody should consider deeply before making a decision: Buy N6681 or not

to people who are interested in this phone please consider waiting for the nokia N series which may hit stalls in a month or 2. if u really insist on getting a nokia 6681 u can pray that the set u get is not faulty which i think most are. i do like the phone but since the problems started it has been giving me a kind of phobia that something will happen to it anytime and i have to waste time and money to fix it. i dun have trust in Nokia any more i just feel like i'm a guinea pig for their beta phone.

i did not come to this discussion board before and i came to find out about this page when i was searching for comments on this phone.all the comments i got for nokia 6681 was positive which den i bought the phone, till i realise it has so much problems. in the first place yeah i am stupid not to do more research but overall if there are no such problems with the phone i will give it a 8/10 but with the problems faced and the help i got from the care center i will give it 3/10.

i am looking to buy a nokia 6681, upon reading all the reviews and peoples opinions i still have not come to a conclusion, would somebody in not so many words be able to sum this phone up, wether it is worth the purchase or not. Thanks in advance.

i read until now a lot of users review...i want to buy me a nokia 6681...i want to be sure that is a good phone, and that is not a mistake to get it...now, can someone who bought it, tell me if no 6681 is a good phone, what are the problems with it, etc...thank you

Just bought 6681 early july 2005. I am NOT fuss with all the functions except it served my purpose. Starting from taking delivery, the video refuse to function. It took me 10 days to get it fix from the authorised dealer. What a shame !!!!!!

DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE..its full of problems trust me cause i am using it...for the first week since i got the phone the problems are all my images in my memory card got erased for no reason and the battery life will start to drain madly after like 6 hours ON STANDBY ONLY and go dry in like 11 hours..i took it to the nokia care center and they did a software upgrade, the battery lasted for 2.5 days and after the second charge the same problem occured again..i went back the 2nd time and they changed a battery for me,the problem is still there...this phone is useless and i am stuck with it for the next two years so guys trust me, get some other phones rather than this.if u guys dun believe me send me an email i will show u the proof(service letter) from nokia..and any one can help me solve this problem i dun wanna keep on charging the battery every now and den and my images getting deleted for no reason.

i have great battery life when i use bluetooth connected to my headset i get almost 2 full days.. ive charged my phone on friday evening and its sunday 11 pm and i still have full battery, i think i can get 3 to 4 days battery life without using bluetooth, the only thing I really hate is that the back cover cracks and is not very good built for a 450 $us phone

Hey Guys can yr'l tel me or give a Link from where I can download a working Guitar tuner 4 my 6681!!!i need the same plzz.i tried flyerone guitar tuner & handee Gtuner but both wont wrk on it.But i had a full cracked version which wrked fine on 6600, If yr'l guys interested for Full version softwares email me, but in return I want a Guitar tuner to run on my Nokia 6681.. its a nice Phone, Im in Luv wit all its features, so i cant give it up just bcus this software not wrking. I installed smart movie 2.76(wit Keygen) & it wrks fine...Rgds to al the Nokia Fans

Ive seen People writing that Nok 6681 is no better then 6600. I suppose that is not true at all. I had a 6600 for 2 years with No problem. I just purchased 6681 yesterday,,Wow its got so many good things rather then my 6600.Camera Flash,louder mp3 & ringtone sound,Light sensor for battery saving,can take 6 consecutive photos at a time,1.3 megapixel clearity for Photos & adjustments bfore clicking.Built in mp3 support & mp3 player plus mp3 ringtones,ful screen *.3gp files,Assign 7 keys of joystick & left & right button for different shortcuts.Direct access button for Loudspeaker,9mb internal memory, Offline mode...Most of the softwares have come Inbuilt along with the Symbian OS. Whats more of a difference do yr'l guys want between the 2 phones??I'l sum later once I master the New NOKIA 6681

Hey my Nok 6681 just arrived to me 7 days ago...Its a Superb Piece..Whoever is writing bad bout tis Phone a DUMB FOOL Servant of other Brand Phones Like Sony Erric, Motorola, Siemens etc. or might be sum Phone users who hav just missed de Opportunity & wait for tis & instead went in for NOK 6600, 7610, 6670,6630 or other better phone. Believe Me, im a very happy Man wit this lovely Cell. As told earlier, my symbian Phones wic I owned earlier were 6600 & 3230.but tis is got great features like a Flash 4 yr photo wich u can Boast bout to yr frnds.A great Feature is de Sequence mode where wit one click I can take 6 pictures in a few secs.Sound Quality of mp3 tru Headset is terrific lik a mini mp3 player.compared to my previous phones sound frm de main Loudspeaker is much better & louder to hear.U can activate Loudspeaker even while dialing a Ph. NO. wich was not possible wit other phones.The Joystick is my favourite key.having 5 key buttons plus 2 more in de side i.e left & right navigation button, which u cud assign 2 open any program or software wit just a click. Assigning the joysytick standby keys is not possible in the other phones.my firmware is v 3.10.6 date:11-04-05 which has no bugs at all.Al wrks perfect.bad points:-1)Alas the phone doesnt hav a Radio, but who cares as long as u keep updating yr mp3's frm a PC..& hear dem whenever u want.2)Even Wen keypad is Locked & u open the cam Flap it activates the Camera.The Beautiful Bright lites of the keypad wont turn on during day light cus the sensor adjusts the light condition....Ultimately best PHONE of NOKIA's after 6600
