i think nokia has to recall all the nokia 6700 for its faulty keypad... my keypad pulled off... and i was surprised that the next customer of nokia care has the same problem... and the color is chrome and they dont have stock u cant change it to other color even though its the only stock they have because your warranty will be void and you will pay for the labor...

i have problem with nokia 6700 c bluetooth i can switch it on when i try it says " switching on bluetooth " and nothing happened . i update the software from 7.40 to 10.60 and still same problem is any 1 help me plez
and its true ther is new software avalible now its 13.10 is that right bc i try to setup it . it no avalible to me

Have now found answer myself to q. I posted 6hrs ago re start-up tone.
Go to Menu-Settings-Phone-Startup Tone and switch off.

Please, can anyone tell me how I can 'kill' the Nokia theme that comes on every time the phone is turned on?
Turning off with Silent mode activated does not seem to work.

anup, 27 May 2010hey guys the people at mobilestore.in havs stopped selling ... morethe phone is very good, the reason i think some stores have stopped selling the 6700 classic is that the 6700 slide has come out, i prefer the candy bar rather than the slide mainly because it is much slimmer and does not bulge in your pocket and in my opinion looks much better, especialy the chrome version

If... moreyes you can store your sms and mms on the memory card, so it all depends on the gb that you have in theory thousands, for those that are not sure whether to buy this phone....i highly recomend it the battery lasts 4/5 days and email is great, i get all my emails on it...no problem,searching the web is a breeze, i have had it 3 months now without anything going wrong, sound is very clear and loud, camera is good and does most things very well..i give it 9/10, slim good looking phone.nice weight to it great build quality not plastic rubbish.what else do you want from a phone?

I have heard about problems with the screen being fragile, and the OS locking up, but so far, no problems. I'm running firmware 10.5.
