I have EIGHTEEN phones of NOKIA & BLACKBERRY respectively made in Finland & UK. They could not survive eight month of rigrous usage that we put them through here & now do not work in India. Its my job to put every phone through its worst possible running conditions & give my reports to manufacturers & believe me only couple of European or Japanese made phones could survive my tests. So kindly THINK twice before making a regional statement. It could spark a racism dabate.

I must say that you all gave great grades to the phone and now you can't use it?
If it's made in India or in Asia in general - It won't work.
We all know that the Asians do not know how to make phones - they just copy them from other producers and they say they made it or make the phones but they work bad.
If you buy one from Europe - Hungary or Finland - these 2 countries make the Nokia phones good. Hell if you can from Finland you'll never have problems and Hungary too.... they make the Nokia phones good and better than other countries do so buy from there not from India or Asia cos they wont work and you'll have only problems.

And you are right...it depends where it's made and where you got it from... it also depends on the owner to keep it in a working condition and to be careful with it.

backup.

I bought one in Dec 09.It would just sswitch off.Sent back to the company,not got it back yet.It never happened with Nokia before.

i have 2gb memory card in my phone which is full f music but this does not slow the phone down at all as it did with previous models, which i find very impressive...

i've had this phone for 4 months now, extremeley pleased with it, no problems apart from the fact that it has crashed once but no real problem.. sound quality is excellent through loudspeaker.. headset could be more functional i.e. have controls for music playback, and usb cable is ridiculously short ( but this does not bother me as i have the cable from my old 6600 slide which is the same one)..
overall brilliant phone :-D
