When the 6700c is as old as the 8800 it will be priced a lot cheaper, as you'd expect. People will have to pay a premium for a brand new handset, it's not rocket science....

after cancelling my pre-order ...i got a second-hand but IMPECABLE 8800 sirocco for 220euro and still have some money left !
6700 can wait

Come on Nokia, what are they waiting for. This phone is going to be a mega sales hit, like the 3310 and 6300 before it. But it is better than any of those were back in their days. Design is much better, gps...

the best nokia are the E-series (E66,E71,E72,E75,E90) the phones created by nokia I certainly will buy the E72 when it will be in the middle east even if it will cost me all my salary.
NOKIA is the best company in the cellphones market why buying 6700 when you can buy an E75 or E71 for less than 317 euros in my country nokia E71 is for 340 dollars and nokia E75 for 385 dollars.
I'm a business man who have lot of work i don't have time to put my hand on my head the E71 is organising my business very much.

I hate it when reviews state wrong information, whoever said that 6700 classic has a 3.5 mm audio output?! It doesn't!

i have the same feelings regarding the subject!
I am also a huge nokia fan but dare to say that i am turning into a NON-Nokia FAN. their policies are absolutely ridiculous and it's like they have absolutly no respect for their customers. one thing is not being able to put out with a product and another thing is to say one thing ..like releasing it in may ... and not shipping it until mid-june. this is SHAMEFULL !
nokia 6700 is going to be the LAST Nokia i will ever buy (still buying it bcuz i have preoredered and i am aman of my word)

Nokia, as always testing the patience of their consumers. I absolutely WANT this phone. It's perfect for me (although I'm not a huge fan of nokia). I like that it has GPS (for a feature phone) and of course the metallic finish. I don't want any creacking plastics!!! But seriously, I remember this phone being announced back in 2008! If they wait any longer, they might just as well move on to the next phone in this series. WHY IS IT TAKING SO LONG NOKIA!! The whole industry is smacking you in the face with some of the best phones I've ever seen, and you manage to bring out the 5800 in februari of 2009. After being announced for a couple of months too. The N97 is a POS...

Both look absolutely stunning in the flesh. The photos don't do them justice. The Chrome model is quite an eye-catcher though and the black looks just as good.
They are very well made, they are not "creaky" as there's no plasticy cheap parts on this handset!
