No, it's not "a must" for me at all, and the battery life is WAY more than enough for me, it lasts a very long time, and the idle time is great. (could last about a week).
If I wanted a water-resistant premium phone with a 5,000mah battery I'd buy such a phone for a much higher price. But no, I prefer the indestructible aluminum body Nokia 6.1.

I own nokia 6.1,this is the worst pjone i have ever used.
Within 6months i had so many complaints.
The phone turned off suddenly one day,i gave it to nokia service centre and they said chipset is dead.(all my data gone🎈)
I got phone after a whole month thanks to Nokia's fast service.
After two week it turned off again but i was able to turn it on again.Now the phone battery is heating up and discharging so fast.In the settings it shows last full charge 300days ago,it was 100%in the morning.
The phone now switches on and off on its own will
But Hey! we have metal body.
Never buying nokia again in my life..thuff

I am still using this phone in this phone sound quality is too bad u cant watch any movie or other veido or any audio bcoz u can listen the voice. sound is too low and there is no any system to upgrade it ...

I've been using this phone 11 months now and it deserves to be praise cause it a very good mid range phone but still it has some small inconvenience but these are minor at first it's true that my phone was getting very hot when charging but after my third times charging it the temperature seems to stay at a reasonable level and since then I've not got this issue again but the thing that bothers me is the fact that Nokia isn't trying to make better improvement concerning the 6th and 7th series mid range smartphones 2019 since the battery level isn't sufficient enough compare to other brands and the processor also need to be updated we're in 2019 and most importantly they really should make these phones water resistant it is simply a must in these days.

I have this cellphone for a year now, I'm very happy with it, is fast, strong case, I've dropped it a few times no problems neither scratches although i have always kept it with a EMF protector and a screen protector as well, also it doesn't come with any Nokia app, that makes it better when it comes to the use of storage.
I spend long periods of time using it for work, study, and entertainment purposes, the battery last long.
The only negative thing to say in "my experience using it like I do" is that it gets hot when I use it charging playing "only some games", but that happens to me with every phone I had, I do NOT recommend to use any phone charging.
Nothing more to say than I like this phone, I recommend it, good quality phone for its price.

Very good mid range phone. Have been using close to two years without ANY problems.
Android One is a solid build for this Nokia. Security updates always downloadable.

Please never purchase this mobile
if you search, many of them have stuck Download Mode, and Nokia service is not responsible. You lose your money and your time

Dropped it from 15 meters while climbing, it fell to the ground bounced off a rock and landed screen first. Few scratches apart, no damage at all and it works like on the day I bought it. Nokia 3310 would be proud. Would heartfully recommend.

I am using this phone for last 2 months. This is a good phone. But the drawback is with the sim card tray. Can't use 2 sim and SD card at same time. Otherwise it's a nice model I love Nokia

Excellent Phone,
I have my 6.1 for 1 year and 2 months now, working fast and reliable, self-update via an android one, also premium feel phone (aluminum-carbon) with a mid price.
Nokia is back on track hard.

very good phone once you upgrade to the Android One. easy to do that since it is just a click on settings-system update !!
