My nokia 8 runs at about 1.3 gbRam even tough it has 4 GB. Why? Well, android, the first clue. Second (applies to all systems) the more RAM you have the more will be occupied by the OS. Your moto might have had 1.3 gb but for sure the experience was not great. Android needs about 4gb for it self to be opened in RAM and hand all it's functions at the fastest way possible to the CPU. The fastest way, at the moment, being: holding Files in RAM'. The more the functions/files are being read from the storage, the more lag you will see. And that is why all 2 gb android devices have a lag even with an.high end cpu.

This phone is super laggy.i have 3 gb variant .purchased few days ago but its performance like i am using a cheap phone which only have 512 mb ram .when ever contact nokia care they only send hard reset your phone.poor customer service.i score this device 2/10 and people stay away from this super slow phone don't buy thia phone.

faceless, 03 Aug 2018Do you realize that Android 8 is more demanding than JellyB... moreno , it has bad ram management. The 4 GB variant will have few more hundreads free ram. It's a stock Android version.

The old Nokia 6 supports formatting SD as internal storage but the 6.1 absolutely does not. I own it. It doesn't even work if you use the ADB command to force formatting as internal storage because adoptable storage does not work with file based encryption. None of the new Nokia phones with Android One support adoptable storage.

poor ram management. out of 3gb only 1.3 GB is free. as it's an Android one device I expected more. Moto x 2013 model has 2gb of ram and I get 1.3 GB ram free always.

hi, lately xiaomi has launched xiaomi mi a2. i found out this phone have about similar price with nokia 6.1. i need a phone that could last as long as it could be (prob. 3+ yrs) but sd 660 priced similar to sd 630 in nokia, its a deal that i couldnt resist. any suggestion about this two phones.

Awesome phone. Greta music quality and the best camera in this category or higher. My previous phone was Huawei P9 which maybe looks great but in comparison with 6.1 is cheappo:) Nokia is better in everything, not to mention all screen focus in 4k and full HD video. Awesome for youtubers

is it true that the screen is too blue-ish? All reviews say that the screen has a blue/cyan tint. Is that obvious when using the phone???
