I have been reading a couple of hundred of the latest comments
And the problem with these open blogs, all the fakes, working for foreign govts, and firms get on the blog just to rubbish the brand to promote their own rubbish copies.
I have two current Nokia's, all working well, most likely much better than those born yesterday fakes making poor nokia copies.
Nokia brand has proud history of building quality equipment, yes, I have used many of their products, and I know the score.
Fakes, you know who you are. GET LOST

Purchased the Nokia 6.1 2 yrs back, initially working good but m facing battery problem since last month. Nokia is an old company and they should review their product if they want to survive in the market

XRT10, 16 Aug 2020Yeah we do need great build quality but not "just"... moreI admit, built quality & design are just two aspects of a phone. Others are user experience and specification. I own two Nokia's under HMD banner, the Nokia 6.1 & Nokia 7 Plus. These are from their 2018 batch in which they pretty much nailed it in all three aspects bar software user experience.
Nokia's lacks the level of consistency in software and frequent software updates makes the situation even worse with the phone getting slower and slower with no time for optimization. In comparison LG provide semi-annual updates, just twice a year but they nail it in terms consistency, optimization, seamless operation and zero software issues. I like LG's approach where I can always rely on their phone as they always work.

It has incredible build quality, by the way. Your experience with "Nokia" has nothing to do with this Opinions page.

Using this phone for over 2 years.Battery is draining faster than before, but that is expected after 2 years. It has slowed down a little bit,but overall it is a good phone.
P.S. it has great build quality(as expected of Nokia)

It's my message to Nokia company that's this phone is one of the dumpest thing in the market 1. heating issue 2. both cameras are worst 3. PUBG game always lagging 4. Inbuilt hardware are cheap.
Please guys there are so many other options in the market so don't waste your hard earning money for buying this garbage.

Hi guys, I have this phone for two years now, still working great but it shows it's age day by day. Battery won't last longer than 24hours (without touching the device would go a bit more) and it became slower since the last few updates.
I am looking to buy a new phone, can you suggest something that is cheap and fast and can be considered an upgrade to this? Battery life and good processor are what I am looking for, don't care at all about camera and generally social features.
Thanks

Anonymous, 04 Jul 2020PATHETIC phone. All good reviews of Nokia 6.1 are by new us... more"Crashing" is such a blanket statement covering an absolutely endless array of different issues. Phones don't crash - software (and whether it conflicts with certain hardware) crashes. This phone runs stock Android (version 10 as of this reply). As with all phones (or any web-connected device - whether a phone, tablet, PC, etc.), it will eventually slow as it is used without proper maintenance. Even still, a factory reset really freshens-up an otherwise miscategorized "old and tired" phone.
I've actually JUST reset mine the other day for the first time since purchasing it new at the start of February 2020, but that was mostly out of laziness and not wanting to get down to the root of why so much space was being eaten-up (turns out an app was starting to save backups to local storage rather than SD card after an app update - had absolutely nothing to do with the phone, Nokia, or Google. It was the individual app developer).
Keep chucking those little supercomputers into the trash the moment a bit of Googling is required to get things running as smooth as new. I'm sure it's really gonna help humanity in the long run. =]
