Yes, you can hide notch, but I do not recommend built-in feature for this purpose. I like NachoNotch more, because it lets you to round edges (but it may cause UI-related bugs in some apps).
No, it's 30 FPS only as far as I know. Also camera is pretty mediocre.

nice midrange phone
after 6 day's of using it, i did not encounter any problem.
cam is good (with or without gcam)
battery last for 24hrs ( not a gamer)
my only concern is the online AR******* seller gave me a expired globe sim (4/2018) as a freebie..

With the December 2018 update to Pie OS which I downloaded this January 2019 my Nokia performance is nothing but great... Camera now include a pro mode, notch can be hidden... my experience so far compared to the previous Oreo OS is that Nokia has finally we up...

My Nokia 6.1 plus was automatically upgraded to Pie couple weeks ago.
Now playing videos (stored or streaming from Facebook or Viber) got stuck very often and sometimes rewind (go back) unintentionally.
Also while typing Gboard suddenly disappeared.
Mobile data link is not persistent and it is disconnecting very frequently.
Also settings for default app is disabled and i cannot changed it except for browser, sms and phone apps. Saddest thing is no official Nokia or Android site to get support. So don't recommend this if you want really handy phone. Hardware is better and attractive, poor software performance will overshadow it.

It's bad no notification light at all even in charging. We couldn't aware when message,email get. The battery run out quickly.
