this is my first touchscreen. Tried out iphones and samsungs before getting this, and am very satisfied with my 700.
Fast, crisp, beautiful. The perfect size, not too big and not too small (for my liking). Nokia Belle is huge relief over Symbian ^3 and performs like a treat. Had it for a month, the battery holds usually for 4-5 days. I'm an average user and am not crazy over apps, that's probably why it holds so well. Great call quality.
In other words, everything I ever need from a smartphone. Only disappointment is the camera, could've been better. On the other hand you cannot expect a superb camera fitted into a phone as thin as the 700.

PS I've read numerous complaints regarding the 700's performance after updating Belle to Feature Pack 1. I didn't update mine and it performs fast enough and without bugs or glitches. So for future 700 buyers, don't use the FP1 update if you don't need it.

Honialz, 24 Oct 2012frndz i want to knw that which one is better Sony Xperia P ... moreCan't compare: Sony Xperia P is a bigger phone with a large screen, Nokia 700 is a small phone with a smaller screen

If you are looking for a direct competitor to the Xperia P then there are many options

If you are looking for a direct competitor to the Nokia 700 then there is only really the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray

Anonymous, 23 Oct 2012Many thanks for that info I looked at the original blog ... moreScratch that... just discovered new Fring will require registering your phone number, just like WhatsApp. A major security risk! Probabably will also try to upload your contact list, just like WhatsApp. I don't want some third party company tracking my telephone number and those of all my friends! I guess my SIP calls will all be via Nimbuzz from now on :-(

Very glad I got Nokia 700 now and not Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray (other option for a small, powerful smartphone) after latest issues over the JB upgrade and complaints concerning bugs in the ICS release

Nokia certainly have better support policies than Sony

I think I'm going to miss Symbian when the time comes to replace my Nokia 700
