Is this the end of symbian? can someone make me understand why there are news (rumors) that nokia has canceled all plans for Carla or Donna? will Symbian ever support HD (720p) screens? what is the future of Symbian? where is it going and what are we expecting as consumers? are we waiting for Carla and Donna? there's so much news on lumia, so much support but on Symbian? is it dying? i love the 808 pure view, and for sure il buy it.. but what is Nokia doing with Symbian?

SS, 19 May 2012The battery lasted 3 hours and approx 10 minutes in my hard... moreDid the same heavy duty battery test for Nokia E6 also.
It holded for 5 hours and 15 minutes.
And also for Nokia 701 which delivered 4 hours and 15 minutes of music streaming over 3G with bluetooth headset attached all the time. Perhaps 100 minutes of webbrowsing also during the test.
Nokia 700 delivered far less in this battery test of heavy duty.
A spare battery is always recomended to have in the wallet. Battery charger DC-16 is also a very good thing to have in the briefcase if you really do a lot of data use over 3G and other heavy power using.
I still love all 3, Nokia 701 is overall recomend but Nokia 700 is a real beauty I think.
Btw Nokia E6 has by far the best audio quality and it seem also to have the best connectivty among all phones in the market.

Hi! Im planning to buy this phone.
I would like to know if the 700 has tradiniotal text input like the old symbian phones. Considering the small screen size, one may have difficulty composing texts with the squeezed qwerty keypad so the traditional abc, def, ghi, etc..... virtual keypad layout would really really help..

anadi, 13 May 2012which one should I buy 700 or 603???thanx in advance.......I am nokia 700 user from past 5 days ,
using it very roughly like running 12 to 15 apps at a time using 3g , wifi for a whole day but it never give any problem just execpt 1 restart because of a 1080p video whatever it just a beast in the cover of beauty...
Use it feel it...
