i want to buy the phone but i'm confused between nokia 701 or wave-III s8600...
which is better..considering battery backup, overall performance, camera.
And regarding camera which is good, 5 MP autofocus or 8 MP fixed focus?? please reply..

to fix it, install netqin mobile sequrity (free on ovi store), then choose application manager on netqin, and uninstall email application, it will remove some conflict file created by MS app, and email app will useable after that.

AnonD-46763, 13 May 2012Pls dudes, I ddnt get a solution though i re-installed bell... more@A.Z. - I also encountered the same problem before and I read in another forum that the solution is to install NetQin Security and uninstall the Mail application from there. Then restart Mail again and everything should work fine. It worked for me. Hope this helps.

guys if you facing any challenges kindly visit the nearest store and advise them to reload the software and only if you get default preloaded wallpapers on your homescreen it means your device is good to use
if you do not find the default wallpapers on your home screen it means all system files has not been loaded

Dear friends,
Hello all my friends Nokia 701 users.
I was have some problems with my phone but now after some days in Nokia Care Point . NOW it's very good ,Alhamdu lellah,
the problems started when I reset my phone ( hard reset ) many problems so I sent to Nokia then they solved some problems in the hard ware and also installing what I lost in the reset process ( GPS ).
FINALLY , it's very good phone , it's excellent but you have to know how use it and careful of update through internet or non-Nokia care point.
Any problems you have go direct to Nokia Care Point only, and GOOD LUCK .
All options good ,
-GPS is very good,
-Internet browser coming now very fast and better than before,
-Media // ALL media can be open 3GP, and many forms.
-general performance is more better,
-touch screen is good ,no problems.
-Many issues can be done through it instead of computer.
-It's ( High Option + Low price )
IN GENERAL now its can be better than Iphone and Android.

Glen, 09 May 2012Hi friends...I do use a Nokia 701 the set gets heated very ... moreyou arecorrect bro..the same heating problrm with my phone and no problem solved. i sentitagain waiting for its delivery. if the problem still not solved then Iam determined to go to consumer forum. I have informed and got complained registeredwith nokia care on line. they have told me that they are trying theirbest....I advice you to go nokia support page of yourcountries nokia website and register a complain by email givin your jobsheets reference.

I have updated my 701.and some softwares disapeard and my country language but it didn't change a lot.I think it was better that I waited for symbian carla.

Guys der s prob wit ma 701, sday i captured a video through ma 701, after tat wen i selected it to play its displaying as "Memory full close other applications and try again", y s dis prob guys, if u find any solution let me know, even i deleted all the cache files, temp files and restarted ma 701, i still av 2gb of free space in mass memory and 346mb free memory in phone.

I have been using the Nokia 701 for 3 months now.I love it but my only problem is that sometimes i need to restart the phone to get WIFI signal and/or internet connection . can any body help with this issue
