I have extensively used IOS, Android and Symbian and I can honestly say that Symbian is the best of the three. Customizable, feature-packed, and flawless. I prefer an os that is more than just one dimensional. Oh, then there is the best hardware in Nokia phones including by far the best call quality ( often forgotten these days). Oh, and I can squeeze 3 to 4 days of battery life out of this phone- absolutely amazing.

hi cho anna. I think nokia 701 is better. I also ask myself which's better and I've choosen 701. I'm sure that I didn't make mistake.

but i think that ant-nokia is running to negatively votesuvh a strong 701 and it shows clear frustration

Thats true and u had given ... morehey am not sure about the heatness in the back panel near the camera, may be due to the heat from the speaker if u play it in loudspeaker with ur phones speaker position facing down. but dis s not the solution coz am not sure abt that, just told ma view.

You can msg from ur call log, once u press your call button (green button), it will display u all the call logs, do not just tap on the number to which u want to send the msg, press and hold on that particular number den u get a list of options, from that select "create message" and send what ever message u want.

701 is really a good phone, i accept that but i dunno wats happening wit ma 701, it gets restarted once in a day after the service from nokia care, friends any suggestion r idea?

Dear All
I have bought NOKIA 701 2 days Back. Bought for 17600 At Hyderabad. Its a very Good Phone, Few lagging things which i have noticed is..
1) You cant message from call Logs(Call Register) to anybdy. Usually If any call log is there of any person, usually in other mobiles.. You can message by clicking any of the call log. But here in call logs ifyou touch any caller, the call goes. To Message u have to go to contacts only.
Best example is any unknow number you got miss call, and you want to message you cant. If you click the number the call goes, If you want to Message, you can message only the contacts only
2) THe back Panel where camera is there, it gets frequent over heat than the normal range.
I will load few other things after using today also.

nokia 701 screen is the best one.. compare to 480x800...701 screen had only 360X640 but it 1000nits brightness..with nokia clearblack..for great sunlight visiblety..1000 nits for brightness..and 16:9 display..no others mobile display got 16:9!!!!..over all its a best one..propper miltitaskng is thr..i can use many apps in one time..but my frnds got androids...if they use facebook..they cant acess msg frm molbile..buz in its price range there r no propper multitasking android phones..and many disadvantage r thr in real life use..nokia rocks..
