AnonD-38095, 17 Feb 2012there is no mention of any specific sar value but the user ... moreNo dude, it must be mentioned there inside the user guide.look under contents on front page of user guide.there you'll find a 'product and safety information' heading at last with page number mentioned against it,jump to that page number.SAR value is given there inferior to 'battery authenticity information',it may be on the last few pages of your user guide.you can also check for it inside the separate 'product and safety information' booklet provided with your device.

Guys!!!
I've used 701 before some time and sold it for some reason.It was the best mobile phone I ever had.now I want to buy it again but there's some doubt regarding the SAR value of the device.
I came to know that the new models of 701 have a SAR(Radiation level) value of 1.08w/KG due to the change of some component while the old models had SAR value of 0.69w/kg.Hence the user guide that is being provided with the device has also been updated to "issue 1.1" from "issue 1.0".In the latest user guide i.e. "issue 1.1",SAR value is mentioned as 1.08w/kg.
I want the one with SAR value 1.08w/kg for better signal reception...I went to a few shops but all the 701's available in my city have a manufacturing date of dec,2011.so, Iam not sure about their SAR value.they might have the old SAR value or the new one.
*****I need some help from you guys....!!!
1.Has anyone of you got user guide "issue 1.1" with your 701?
2.what is the month of manufacture mentioned for the device on the box?is it dec,2011.
(issue No. is mentioned on the front page of user guide.)

sara, 16 Feb 2012why no dedicated torch light in this phone???????????The locker buttion itself is a dedicated key...just slide it and hold it for 2 seconds to use yr flash as a torch and so the same to close th e torch.
