very nice and good phone (with belle, 1ghz cpu...) and for a good price of under 250€ here in germany!!

played the built in asphalt-5 on my nokia 701, just to make my battery low.. the game doesn't lag or hang or exit.. played from level 1-7 for about 3 hours and keep restarting the level coz i'm losing, lol..

Of course Symbian will always update their OS, si... moreIt is for sure that nokia will keep updating symbian but only thing is that they have dropped their symbian name,as now symbian belle will be called nokia belle.similarly further updates will be in name of nokia,as nokia obviously is brodaer brand name.Symbian still is the top os and has increased its hold this year.read the following link.

just download the latest update. 111.030. Bluetooth problem is solved. Display color changed a bit, battery is more stable. Update ur phone via nokia suits. Loving my phone...

this is one of the best mobiles. With 1st version of firmware there was a restart issue but after firmware version 111.030.0609 theres no problem. It has got better GPU then the N8 and other company smartphone. So Gaming is also good. Its battery backup is one of the best from Nokia. 720 p video are superb on this master. Also sound quality is superb. Camera is very satisfying. What can i say I LOVE MY NOKIA HELEN 701.

-NFS shift works ok but if the camera view are set inside the car it lags
-asphalt lags sometimes shuts down by itself
-some other HD games also doesnt works good on 701
-some flv files needs internet conenction to play
-but everything else are superb!

hope nokia will use symbian, meego and windows as their operating systems.. just like samsung which uses bada and android at the same time...

Of course Symbian will always update their OS, similar to Meego and maemo OS eventhough not many phone use them. But, I am not sure if NOKIA going to continue to use new Symbian OS (Carla and Donna) in their future project. Seems like NOKIA is very keen on the WP7. For me, Nokia should not abandon symbian. Nothing wrong for nokia to carry more than one OS platform in their products.

Dont know the news about Carla and Donna. Not sure also if symbian will still make phone using Carla and donna platform as they (nokia) very keen on window phone 7. Hope Nokia still maintain symbian as one of their main OS. Nothing wrong to have more than one OS under one phone brand.

i bought this phone as i already had a c7 and wanted the same design . Before buying i saw here that it does not play divx or xvid videos but to my surprise when i put a divx video in it it played its a superb phone its even better than my n8 as i am nokia fan i want everybody who are thiking of buying it should go for it without a doubt
