This Nokia 701's specifications looks better than Nokia C7. Why, in Cambodia, it is cheaper than Nokia C7 even C7 available long time ago and this phone is just released this September?

knightmk, 12 Dec 2011this is very good phone good screen batery for 2 days on he... morei do not get more than one day of battery life even with moderate use. 1 hour of surfing on wifi, 30minutes of gps and 30 snaps from the phone... Is this battery drain fine?? Please help.. On continuous browsing, i dont get more than 3-4 hours of battery life... :(

just updated to latest software and i've noticed the speed/responce increase and also the display now is way better than b4....but i noticed that messages in sms inbox did not display the name of the sender so i had to do a hard reset after which i restored my fone contents and thing was back to normal....

Does the new software update 111.030.0609 solve the bluetooth receiving problem.i haven't updated mine yet ?

friends i bought 701 and when i connect it with its earphone then its not supporting it...but same earphone is working in other phones....i checked some other 3.5 mm jeck earphones but they are also not working.....plz help me....is there any setting or something wrong with it

Thanks for all friends answered me,NOW I AM CONFUSED TOTALY.
I like the system of nokia and SW, HW. but now what to do with nokia if will not support me with suitable APP.( but the main one app I want to do video chat with other systems like android and iphone user )
And fring untel now Fring don't support nokia 701, Also I can do video chat with other nokia user like e52 but not with android only voice.
SO,What is the phone I can get instead of nokia 701 in the same price arround ?
May be 1-Samsung Galaxy W i8150 ( It's new )
2-SE Xperia neo
3-SE xperia Neo V ( but I read camera is not good as expected for both Neo & Neo V)
4-Galaxy i9001
Really I am Totally Confused , and some times I think I will not get any one now because may I det rong one.
Better to stay on My Nokia N78 It has all of features but with small memory it helped me for 3 years before.

NFC and radio widgets are updated...... menu scrolling is smoother.. and version no. changed from 111.20 to 111.30 :P .... nothing else is changed i suppose..... but if anybody know the improved features, plz let me know... :)

Two different answers on my question, i'm really con... moreNokia 701 can play .avi format..since avi format are just package for video and audio,playing avi format also depends on wat codec used for audio and video conversion..some of the audio codecs are not supported by nokia,so you cant play some of the avi files(see official nokia developer site for wat codecs are supported)..try using ucplayer just google it..

im using dis phone for 2 mnths, i encounters a prblem in wifi connectivity after evry 4-5 days,the prblm fixes everytym after d reset of device ,,can anyone suggest me d permant soln?

i too just got the new firmware notification and i've started downloading now,,,due to my internet connection speed, i guess it will take me a whole day to download cos its 409MB,,,,,i will write a short review tomorrow after i install......One love peeps....Nokia Rules

guys guys , just now i have connected my 701 to my pc and ovi suit opened and displayed me that there is a device update available VERSION 111.030.0609 , has any one of u have updated to it !! but its not released over the air i guess , coz when i checked it in device clicking on SW UPDATE it dint display any....
if any one of you has updated it let me know...

Aims, 12 Dec 2011i purchased a 701 but i am unable to recieve any files from... moreFirst make sure other phone is capable of sending files via bluetooth(eg-wp7 phone not capable of sending files via bluetooth),then restart your phone or if problem persist do hard reset of your phone(backup your files first) by typing *#7370#..even then problem persist it may be because of hardware problem go to nokia care they will replace the phone..
