Dave, 14 Nov 2011Hi.. i had the same problem, my phone was restarting every ... moreoh OK... but now my auto restart problem has been reduced from 3 times to 1time in a day, besides it doesn't have anything to do with the no of widgets or home screens u use dude so don't worry use all the 6 home screens .. but tell me one thing when ever it used to auto restart is ur mobile data connection ON or OFF ?
coz i found out in my mobile that its having that auto boot prb when ever the mobile data is ON ...

dear all i bought this cell...awesome display i must say...install lots of hd games...somehow ovi new maps installation are not working ...need to install qt but its showes some error,any idea guys?and finally i was able to edit music eqaliser so now sound output via 3.5 mm jack is simply awesome....just waiting for skype for this one...

if any one of u will plzzz answer me i have been asking for many months now...Does this plays h games well?????????there is not a single video of it playing hd games..so plzzz any user...plzz chk if it plays hd games without lag so that i can go for it...also should i go for nexus s /nokia 701 /or sonyericson neo???almost same price here?

Purchased this phone one month back.. have used HTC's Galaxiess,iphonesss, prior to this league i was a huge a nokia fan as everybody was. Nokia 701 is very best deal if u r not looking for apps coz ovi lacks applications and games compared to market and istore.
camera is too better than galaxy s2 or iphone4
battery is awesome too heavy usage like browsing,calling,angrybirds, it will give more than a day.
It hanged once but that doesnt matter.
I hope nokia continues with belle.
OS is too good to play with..
I bought this phone for 16000 last month now its 17k change.

The review says "Yet that's not the biggest problem we had with the video player - while it had no problem with 720p h.264-encoded videos, it chocked on the sound. A quick investigation revealed that the AC3 and DTS codecs aren't supported - a problem since they are the most common codecs save for stereo MP3." So it cannot play AVI/Divx videos with the sound properly?

gsmarena try to play a 1080p video to see if it works since the GPU of 701 , 603 , 700 is very good you can say similar performance of the powervr sgx543mp2 that is used in the iphone 4 s.

guys go for 701 except sound this phone is the king of nokia in all aspect. i had brough this phone on 26 oct in 16,500.but price increase now very much. trust me u"ll never regret for this phone.i had use iphone 4 but 701 display is brighter than iphone 4!!!!!!!! IPS LCD BACKLIT DISPLAY WITH CLEARBACK N GORILLA GLASS. i had never seen this type of superior quality display!!!!!! go for nokia 701.

Best thing about N701's experience is the extended use of battery life in the Power saving mode. Phone Rocks.!

I removed extra home screens and now just have 2, disabled big clock screen saver.. set my phone back to factory settings and removed the extra apps that were still showing as installed in the (Already installed)file after i had reset it back to factory settings, my phone has been fine since then...

i don,t understand why the nokia mobiles still having hang problem.
Like when the radio is being played and meanwhile if you unplug headphone jack it will hang all radio will not work until the next restart.
