people who are facing Bluetooth receiving problem, its surely not a software problem and infarct its the problem of some hardware. I even faced the same problem and i gave to customer care guys. i bought my phone on 29Th September and i found the Bluetooth receiving failure problem on the same day. i gave it to customer care and they have sent it to Nokia head quarters as they cant rectify it. After 18 days i got the phone back with the latest firmware and i am shocked to see that problem is not rectified. Added to that there were scratches everywhere on the phone(for people who want to know my agony with Nokia customer service just check my previous posts here). I don't want to stress on that issue now. They have sent it back to the Nokia head quarters and now after 15 days the info i got from care guys is that the handset is subjected to light swap which meant the mother board is changed as they could not rectify the problem. And this is only the current status of my phone in Nokia head quarters. i have not received the handset yet. So my advice to people who ever are facing this problem just go replace your handsets and for people who ever want to buy this phone just check if the problem exists in the shop itself.

AnonD-26581, 03 Nov 2011sorry friend..i dnt have a 701, i was planning to buy this ... morethere is nothing wrong with this fone,, people just bash this fone by saying all sorts of negative things,,,,i'm a proud owner of dis fone and before i bought it, i read many silly comments about it,,, some said the fone is not loud that u might miss a call and reception is bad and so on and so forth,,,,but i'm a proud owner of dis fone for the past two weeks and the only problem i can tell u wit dis fone is that the accelerometer is sluggish, and and it has problem syncing message with ovi suit,,,,,,,and i should also say that its some how sluggish for the config(1ghz cpu + 512 ram)......and finally, the picture quality is very very OK,,, but if u need more crisp fotos, install shutterpro and u get the best of fotos........ one love my fellow nokia fans,,,, chat with me on skype anytime (uch3b3lgium) for more info

hey man karen004 if its any type of hardware problem with the blutooth reciever then even updating the software version wont fix this bug i think i should go for 2nd option replace this with new working one ....

AnonD-15673, 02 Nov 2011hi 2 awl....Finally got my replaced cell A brand new.....n ... moreHi, congrats u got a new phone.but you must check its bluetooth reciever.try sending some 30-40mb file over bluetooth from some other device to your nokia 701.does it recieve that file successfully...you must check for that.

AnonD-26781, 02 Nov 2011thanks i just connected my phone to tv successfully ....my ... moresorry friend..i dnt have a 701, i was planning to buy this but after reading lot of bluetooth problems now im waiting for nokia 603.i've read on other forums also that 701 has bluetooth reception problem,,it stops after recieving 3-4%.and now i don't think that it's a software issue coz one guy has posted that he recieved a 900mb file on his 701 using bluetooth successfully and his phone has the same version as u said and another guy posted that he also don't have any problem recieving files over bluetooth.his phone also has the same version while there are others with the same version who are facing the problem.then how can we say that it's only a software issue.i think it may be a hardware problem with the bluetooth reciever.

thanks i just connected my phone to tv successfully ....my current software version is 111.020.0307 and its made in korea... I bought my fone on last months 7 and then i updated its software ..dont remember the blutooth recieving prob in previous software.. Can u say ur software version if ur not having this problem

hi 2 awl....Finally got my replaced cell A brand new.....n to all...just chk the side where you plug ur chargere .....if u see any little whole from where display light is coming out...get it replaced......

AnonD-26781, 01 Nov 2011hey guys when is the latest sofware update will be availabl... morehello.you can use nokia video out cable CA-75U for tv out purpose.i have not tried it but this is the only composite video out cable from nokia which is meant for nokia 701 and other handsets with tv out feature.so it must work. And you said you are facing bluetooth problems.can you tell me your current firmware version?i think this is a version specefic problem coz many are facing it while there are others with no problems with bluetooth reception.also tell me the make of your phone.

hey guys when is the latest sofware update will be available for our nokia 701.,,cause im tired with the blutooth recieving problem is nokia so busy with windows phones that they dont care about our 701 ......????
And yes one more question guys have anyone connected thier 701 to tv via tv out if yes and connected successfully then which cable did they use.... Please answers ma question friends thanks in advance....

Can anybody tell whether the yellowish colour balance and coldness(or blandness) in colors in the images frm 701 depends on camera quality OR will it be rectified in the coming Versions of Belle?

wow lags, apps not working , no future update why did i buy this???
