wats the video codecs supported..it seems very few according to wat being stated in the specs on this page...does it support xvid.

The LoudSPEAKER SUX !!!! it is verry tinny. The some in Ringtones, voice call and music!
I1m verry sad.
In rest..... The best display, verry fast and good battery

nokia c7 has a bcm2727 graphics chip while the 701 has a bcm2763 which has the same performance as the geforce ulv in the tegra 3

Dear Bart,
I was also of the same opinion.
But now now.
I am having Galaxy S (Android store) and Nokia 5800 ME (Symbion - Ovi store).
I can find the same application on both platforms for the same cost.
Nokia has more rigidity than samsung.

come on ... nokia was old school ... it used to be good when symbian was still on the leauge ... but its out of the picture now ... if you really want a good phone get a high end android phone or iphone ... but if you dont have cash ... then better stick with symbian ...

I considering to buy Nokia 701 but I don't like Ovi store. It has much less applications than Android Market (currently using SE X8) and they are much more expensive the on Android Market. Dictionaries for example cost much more. I am very afraid to switch to Nokia after using Android. I cannot find applications I need for example Autocad Viewer (Auotcad WS on Android). And I think because I cannot find application I need I won't buy this phone.
