Nokia now only need to add autofocus and Adobe Flash 10.3 and use a larger resolution than 360x640 to make Symbian able to compete against Android and iOS and MeeGo again!

Sorry,I will not buy this phone because of camera which is fixed focus. This camera is useless when you take photos in close-up.

Come on NOKIA!!! Before you release this phone together with the Symbian Belles, please change the camera from "fixed-focus" to "autofocus". You still didn't learn from your phones E7, C7, C6-01, E6 and X7? That's why your rank drops to no.3...

i definitely will change my nokia c7 to this phone. Almost the same specifications with more ram more cpu and better screen.

For TOUCHSCREEN phones hardware, manufacturer and interface are all relative.
What's important is the 3rd party APPS available to OS. Current standing is ...

Nokia is still the largest phone manufacturer in the world with mid priced s40 phones leading the way. But even with Nokia running on Windows Mobile soon, Im afraid they will never catch up with Iphone and Android. The lag is too big because Nokia and Blackberry came in too late.
If you are looking for dependable mid price phones - go for nokia.
If you are looking to maximize your smartphone - nokia is not a smart choice

I wonder also why so many fandroids are posting in a nokia thread. They are maybe regreting coz they spend money for a device that they don't really need and now seeking for a companion to join with their androidism act which is endless trolling and bashing like a virus spreading.
They are maybe holding an android device but is staying in a Nokia thread. What a shame.

You need to adjust focus in autofocus for best shot, it can take photos from 10cm to infinity, whereas full focus should be atleast used from 50 cm distance from objects to infinity. No much diff. 8 MP is more than enough, equals dig cam with face detection.

awais anwar, 11 Sep 2011nt so gd no divx/xvid/wmv formate support however gd luk nokia They have, my E6 can play avi, xvid, mkv,wmv,rmvb. 701 is better video spec ->720p X 30fps, no reason cannot play those files.
