with this OS and since Nokia don't want to continue Meego line, let 'em just give us some phones with improved designs and better specs e.g bringing the N950 to Belle for consumer edition and think N850 i.e N8 with 4.0'' screen running Belle and somethings of this nature... Believe me, Belle+better specs+design = Android+Iphone killer!

The battery life is also of note. The old C7 got 9.6 hours GSM talktime, 701 gets 17 hours. Music playback was 2 days, now 3 days. GPS was 6 hours, now 11.2 hours. They seem to have added 30-100% more battery life.
And yet they've put in a 1Ghz ARM11, 4x faster GPU, more RAM and a screen that probably consumes more battery.
That's quite impressive.

WHAT ABOUT THE GPU?!?!???
while everything looks the same to you guys, I do see the differences. Screen tech / Gorilla glass. GPU. Build Quality etc etc. It's like Nokia saying..."You want 1GHz CPU... HERE THEY ARE" I think C7 is far better in overall experience. It will definitely get Belle.

What the hell gsmarena! You left out a lot of details. 701 has ALL of the features of C7, including USB OTG, 802.11 n, TV out, active noise cancelation, etc.
The only differences are these:
1. Faster CPU, 1 ghz vs 680 mhz
2. More ram, 512 mb vs 256
3. Clearblack LED IPS-LCD vs AMOLED
4. farter GPU with 4 times more video memory.
5. Symbian belle vs anna
6. Much higher battery life, probably because of the 1300mah battery, though i think it's a mistake and it is infact still 1200 mah and they achieved that battery life by using smaller node cpu and gpu.
That's it. Everything else is the same.

This mobile needn't have been born.....all features (except for the 30fps video recording) are available in the C7, which by the way is priced not too high. If the argument is about being the brightest, well, those buying it sure will need to have specific taste.
