701 is nokia's best smartphone..smooth in operating..best speed performance.
Every thing best and long time usable phone
But it belle needs some more good apps
like
Dropbox,
skydrive,
google apps,
flickr,
and some other major apps

nokia's bad decision for concentrating overall on windows phone...
I think symbian belle is best OS..
nokia can choose a parallel way with belle and windows...
But i am very sad to hear aboutthat nokia will stop updating belle 2016

diba, 10 Feb 2013hi carol ......broadcom bcm2727 or 2d/3d graphics hw accele... moreI really don't know much about that but... i think this depends on apps, i don't know if their is a performance gain in 2.0 or 1.1 . They both render 3d graphics in different modes. 2.0 has more capabilities and you can do allot more with it, as a developer. But this does not necessarily mean it is faster. If one app uses openGL 2.0 then it should look nicer:). More detailed, not so square outline. I still don't know if this makes it faster...

With predictive text i don't know what you mean. This was invented in 2000:). Both have it. But i think that was clear that at some points 701 is the winner and at some others n8 is. Overall performance 701 is the winner, i told that to. So, i think i covered the important things. At least i think so:). If you can say more, please do, i think he will be reading this forum again...

If you want to know about quality, the both are made with good quality, very good quality. Both have strong signal. No worries there either. My701 (is not mine mine, you get the idea:) has some wlan connectivity issues, but there is not a commun problem, so it is just bad luck, i wanted to take it back many times but i always forget or don't have time. So i can say that both have good internet connectivity. Now, 701 is faster, faster browsing to (not by much, but faster) while n8 has better camera and amoled display. Both have good social integration but i never use it. I use sometime fmobi and nokia chat. I am not interested in this functions so i cannot tell you much. Both have great sound but 701 lacks good headphones(with a new good pair you will notice the difference). Both have good battery life but 701's is slightly better. As for design, i don't know. N8 when you hold them together, is a more manly device. Is more robust, and fat:). While 701 is slimmer and feels more sensitive, is not sensitive, but this feeling makes it more girly. But this is in front of the n8 of course. In front of others (like galaxy crap) is more manly:). Overall performance, 701 is faster. But minding the fact that you want this two devices in one, you will probably need the 808.:). If you want more vivid screen and better camera and a nice pack that comes with, also a faster then other symbian devices 808 is the only chance. If you don't have money, you will need to sacrifice some things. Speed over camera and premium pack, or vice-verse:). So, you chose here, not i:).

I've transferred lots of Movies from my Desktop to Memory Card and work smoothly, but few movies need to be converted because of codec and format compatibility. Syill I'm satisfied with the performance of the Video player.
So If you are a tech related person then I request you to plz try using 64GB memory card in your nokia 701 Belle FP2 phone,. Because I also wanted to have a 64GB memory card but unfortunately its not available here yet (place - KASHMIR).
I suggest you 64GB because Wikipedia says it does support 64GB. And 32GB I've already tried and its working super smooth.
