PS: I Hate All Lumias Having WP 7.5,
But I THINK WP 8 onwards is a big improvement, so I think WP 8 is a CHANGE.
WP 7.5 devices are already outdated Because they won't get updated to WP 8, So here I Think the NOKIA BELLE DEVICES are far better than low-end NOKIA LUMIA devices.

Thanks Yes SWYPE keyboard does work on FP2, I've used it. Its availabe from Nokia Store as free.
But Personally Speaking its little slower than Native Keyboard.

Maybe will work with the new update from beta labs. I don't bet though. Nokia abandoned us:(. We're like lost ghosts:)).

The guy i was answering to, said that Nokia smartphones does not support Skype video-calling. And i gave an example of Nokia smartphone "Lumia" that supports Skype video-calling. There are low-end smartphones that have this hardware limitations but i referred in general, of course! I didn't point to a particular Lumia, no? I also think that was clear that i know that Symbian has Skype, but i said that Skype does not support Symbian video-calling and not vice-verse. Skype could do it for Symbian, but i always had a doubt that they will. And now, after Microsoft bought Skype, i'm pretty shore they won't.

You are absolutely wrong. Because Lumia 610, 510 doesn't support Skype (H/W Limitations) . And yes all Nokia Belle OS Devices does support skype but on voice calling.
And one more advice Why you sticking to skype only. Just lookat the other specs.

Why don't you people inform your self about the changes in fp2? Front camera is working. But doesn't work anymore from original camera software. It is not a bug, this is how fp2 was made. Also, you cannot send multiple photos from gallery anymore. Gallery on fp2 is very simplified, i don't like it either, but this is how fp2 is made. Also, keybord, has some missing useful stuff, but was made like this so to fit bigger buttons on it. If you don't like it (i don't). You should thank to users that kept complaining about symbian keybord which, by the way, i always liked more then the useless one android uses. Now, about your other problem. You sould do a firmware reinstall, but first: Backup only contacts, messages and notes if you would like to have them (no settings, no installed apps). Also, backup important files from your mass memory. Now, press dial then press *#7370#, accept everything that asks for (also give your security code, if you have one). Your phone will restart and will be loading for about ten minutes, so don't panic. Will show you that is loading or will show you only NOKIA start up. After everything is over, select the language is on (don't change it) then just let your phone load everything, don't select nothing else. Just let it load, after 2 minutes, all should be over. Now set what's left to be set (date, time, region, all properly). Now just plug your phone in your pc and open nokia suite (if it doesn't open automaticaly) and let it to install the plugins. After is over and your phone is connected just hit update and reinstall software. Always let your phone pluged in pc till everything is over, till nokia sais that you can use it. Now, do some work on it and see if you still face problems.

mohan, 21 Jan 2013nokia smartphones doesn't support skype video calls.You are quite wrong on that. Lumia has skype video calling. And also, the things are put wrong. Skyoe does not suport symbian video calling and not vice-versa.

610: ram-256, cpu-800mhz
710: ram-512, cpu-1.3ghz
The os in lumia has various limitations as compared to Nokia 701 having Nokia Belle os.

nokia should have continued manufacturing more symbian phones rather than wasting time on the lumia handsets, no doubt the lumia 920 is good but i would rather prefer a symbian handset :-X

Guys don't update it to fp2, it has a lot of bugs.
My main camera of phone stopped working after the update. don't know what to do now :(
the phone hangs and stops working. I haven't used it as rough user. if anyone knows the solution please tell me, i would be very thankful. i tried to restore the phone but nothing was changed.
