Well the update is OK though there are somethings that i miss now that were in FP1 or even BELLE.
LIKES
-The issue of prediction of words can be solved by deactivating prediction under language settings.
-I like the grey look so it reduces the too much contrast.
-I like the new unlock feature.
-I like the new widgets.
-I like the email application. For the first time eversince i bought it, i am able to access office mails through outlook plus others from other providers like gmail...e.t.c
-I like the new features in the music player.
-I like new look of camera and functions.
-I like the new zoom capacity of photos in the gallery.
-I like the appearance of the new keyboard.Finally i can start getting used to using qwerty keyboard after failing with the other one because of the closeness of the buttons. Alphanumeric is also good which i have always used but this time i would prefer to start using the qwerty.
-Battery back up seems to have improved a little as well.
-Music player playing so well.
-Search option on the home screens.
DISLIKES
-Photo Editor is not as rich in effects as it was in Belle or FP1
-Photo quality is still the poor one of FP1, not yet back to the standard of BELLE.
-Microsoft Office application lost most editting features that were present in FP1.
-Video Editor missing.
-No option on camera to use secondary camera.
-Multiple selection feature in gallery not available anymore.
-No notifications on my lock screen like music playing
Others....am still discovering. But generally, a good update though i miss the many photo editting features

Disappointer, 13 Oct 2012 I regret to update my phone to fp2. it make the gallery lo... moreFP2 update is really good. It has made the OS highly stable and brought solutions to some earlier bugs. Be realistic and positive and do not disappoint and mislead others.

sometimes my phone doesnt get connected to some laptops via bluetooth and when sweat is on my screen after talking , the screen becomes unresponsive . so have to restart it again .
is tehre a new update rolled out in october 2012?

Bento, 13 Oct 2012@9jafab.. Its lyk u stay in 9ja.. u got d fp2 update?@ Bento. Used mtn simple surf to update it a few days back. I had a few issues with keypad especially in whatsapp but i don't know its strange. The update seems to fix itself! Its better now!

The difference between phones is in the IMEI which is UNIQUE for any single phone but the product code differenciates region and color of phone. It is also under the product code that the languages that the phones support vary.

Product code depends on region and color as mentioned by KAYA...
Like dark steel have the product code 059H218
and light silver have the product code 059H1X8
and if there were unique product code for all mobile then navifirm would have millions of record in variants..
