Its only disadvantage is the lack of new HD apps.(no new HD apps since last year on Nokia Store).
I own this beast since 30 OCT 2011.Really cool phone as it's from Nokia,but the lack of support by developers for symbian belle makes this phone outdated.
Consider buying a galaxy nexus which has had a sharp price cut or if Android not your kind,then the 701 is the PERFECT phone.

Grt phone....amazing battery life( if u r an android user...you will appreciate it even more....bcoz symbian power management is best in the world)
superb display(with cbd its even better than amoled)
smooth operating system...even when 10 apps running in background,it runs smooth.
Default video player can play all the major formats(avi..mkv..mp4...etc)
I can bet that at this price you wont get a better phone.
P.s: default ringing volume is a bit low...but is fine when playing games.

i think its better and the best one than the dam android!!ppl always go for android buz thet wr mad!! they dnt hav time to thinkll n buy!! viber is comng guy lets party!!!

I'm using Nokia 701 with music player version 17.2.17
I've around 700 songs in my memory card.
In music player, I see the sorting in the order: (i) Artist & then (ii) Album be specific artist. That's okay.
But when I open the album, I see the songs in any random order. They are not sorted alphabetically. Does anybody having such problem too?
