Aww. It's so cool everyone feels the same about it. It did make a statement in its time. Though everyone's concern that time was its ribbon, like the thing in the slider, but hey, it wasn't an issue at all. So long as the user's not as rowdy to the phone, eh? Nokia, create a new version of 7110 :-)

When I first got her,her apearance made a statement,The Nokia 7110,the ultimate phone at that time,it had class, style and could perform. It could store 1000 names with each name the ability to have 4 numbers and two lines of text,it had wap, predictive text, built in dictionary,infra-red,you can be in the heart of a nightclub and still have a conversation, with two microphone speakers, one on the flap and one on the phone. It had a loud ringer with a powerfull vibrating battery, and best of all, when answering a call, click the button on the back, which releases the flap, and talk, that should look so cool....when will nokia build a phone to this calliber again....

my first ever phone, had it since 2000 and still using it. had to change the screen on it after the original one blacked out. only recently been having problems with charging. it doesn't want to charge when connected to the charger so i have to take the battery out and put it into another 7110 i have to charge it lol.
the loose battery issue turning off the phone was solved by putting a bit of paper folded up few times under the battery.
slider now having a bit of problems in that it locks/unlocks the phone even with the slightest of touches. anyone know how to disable the slider having any role in the phones use such as locking or answering the phone etc?
